The place and the grounds are quite charming. The rooms are clean. However the clientele is horrendous! When I visited there were people screaming at each other in the parking lot and I felt a bit unsafe.

WORST MOTEL EVER. If I could give it a -5 star I would. The staff are horrible, rude, creepy, unless educated. They put a 200 dollar hold on your credit card then lock you out of the hotel while they snoop through your rooms to make sure you'll get your money back. The rooms are hot. No ac. So dirty sheets are disgusting there is no bath only a shower which looks like it has never been cleaned. Definitely do not stay at this terrible establishment

Firstly they got my reservation wrong and had no other rooms available. Two of us had to share a bed. Then the shower had no hot water. Also the kitchenette sink leaks onto the floor making the whole floor wet. In the morning they refused to give us any compensation for the bad experience even after this was my third time staying over the last 3 years. Normally id say 3/5 but this experience sucked! Wish I spent a bit more on some where nice!

Uhmwell.for over $200 including all the taxes and fees a night you can stay in a unwashed, stained sheeted bed. With almost no locks on the windows since you are at ground level. Called ahead to see if any pet rooms and was told it was $165 plus tax and the guy failed to mention the $20 pet fee. Which contradicts the paperwork which states the pet fee should only be $15. Couches are stained and the drapes were falling off, so it was bright in the room at night. There was no negotiating the price even though we showed up at midnight.

Over-priced. Disappointed. Felted threatened for first night in Canada. All rooms very expensive. This was 150 per night or $660 per week. The room I stayed in was #252. All across the U.S. these Middle Eastern men were harassing and making threatening comments of hospitalizing. Very unkind. At this one there were no sheets or blankets on bed and a white van parked in front. Several rude comments made. And internet did not work. So I left a few hours later. They refused to give me my money back. I left because I was afraid they would kidnap me in the middle of the night with the white van parked outside. And internet not working, and phone would not work. 411 service not working and would get cut off from 411 calls and 911 calls on t-mobile phone.

I recently stayed here for a few days with my little dog, Truffle. We had a pleasant and relaxing experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that the rooms are all ground floor and have their own entrances, as well as the fact that there is grass for the pup just outside the door! The motel is very old, so there is no air conditioning, but the windows opened up, and the room was equipped with a fan, so the temperature was comfortable. On the down side, there was a musty smell to the room, which I attributed to the furniture and carpet needing a good cleaning, and cleared a bit after the room had been opened up for a time. However, the bathroom was clean, the bedding was clean, and the accommodations were overall acceptable. No refrigerator, so bring your own cooler and ice. They offer coffee in the motel office after 7 a.m., so that's a plus. I would stay here again.

The front desk people are really nice, the 2400 Motel has been used in the filming of a few movies. I like that the place for each unit is like your own place. No walking threw lobbies, everyone has there own front door. The place was built along time ago, but for a motel in the most expensive city in the wrold it great value. It's also has a great location!!!

It's a place of, and for, the nostalgia. Rooms were clean, cleaning staff are very kind, bubbly, helpful.

Some of the front desk staff have, unfortunately, the personality of a dial tone and the social skills of a donkey corpse.

If you stay here, request a room not beside Kingsway unless you like sleeping in a room that has the permanent sound of fourteen bulldozers making their way into it.

The hotel was mediocre. No full size towels, lamp and plug didn't work. I paid 200$ deposit and when my fiancé and I checked out we both bought the other had collected the damage back. Three weeks later after making not one, but TWO phone calls to verify my damage deposit and husbands phone were both still there. They then informed me that my hair colour had stained two towels. Two HAND towels. One from my shower the second was the one I put over the pillow to protect told me I'd be getting 179$ of 200$ back. So I travel back, and all of a sudden there's a new 70$ charge for a stained bed skirt? Hey claim I somehow slept with my head on he bed skirt yet the pillow cases and sheet were all left unharmed? When I asked for a manager, in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday, she was available only by phone and refused to help me until Monday when she's back instead of telling the worker in from of me to remove the false charge. This was the most ridiculous unprofessional experience I've ever had. I had multiple people including their own maintaince guy shaking their heads because the manager flat out refused to refund my damage, and they didn't give me my phone back either. The fact that I have to call police now, after travelling back fm Alberta strictly because I'd been told both my money and cell were there, is ludicrous. By far the worst hospitality service I have ever had. Especially after seeing all the complaints already about the dirty sheets. Why am I paying 130$ for two towels not even hand towel size? The manager was beyond rude, yelling at me instead of trying to help me fix it; going to find out if I can make a formal complaint, I've been told you can go after hotels the same as a landlord for wrong doings, in which case she'd better watch out. Take pictures before you even put your bag down so they don't try and refuse you your money that's rightfully yours. I'm beyond livid at this service. What a joke,

The rooms are fine, its what u need, clean enough, not under the bed tho,you might find some freebies, thankfully no condoms. Try not to stay in the rooms closest to the street, talk about loud, I have never experienced non double glazed windows by a busy street. Hard with my animals. It pet friendly, staff are nice. Always take ur key outside, door locks automatically. Really expensive rates for what ur getting.

The room doesn't have microwave. Pretty small and it was alright for a typical motel. We didn't had any much expectation

The room was very dirty their were blood stains on the sheets, when we asked for new sheets the receptionist was very nice about it and started talking about the history of the motel but we just got equally dirty sheets. There was a lot of stuff left from the last rentee pins on the sheets nicotine patches it was a struggle to clean.
