Decent living space. Close to bus loop. Can have solo living space or share with 5 others.

Often 4 dorm rooms, a single bathroom and a kitchen/couch room. Small space for so many people, but convenient location. Under university surveillance, less than optimal freedom.

Rooms are a bit space and concrete aesthetic. But otherwise it was a decent place to live, close to the bus loops and all my courses.

I live on the 7th floor, sharing the kitchen and bathroom with 5 other students, rooms are nice student size with tons of storage. Nice views and pretty nice living room

Basic and clean. The elevator was extremely slow sometimes. Reception and maids were friendly. A nice bathroom but no bathtub. It is a good place to stay if you have come for summer camps. There is no air-conditioning, just a fan and it can get quite hot.

Right on ubc campus. Nice 1 bedroom suite. Grocery store not far, moderate priced restaurants nearby. If you are in Vancouver for something UBC related this is the spot for you.

The rooms have the essentials and the common area of the 6 people unit is nice. It has kitchen and utensils. The view was great from th 15th floor. Gage employees can enter whenever they want, but they usually knock first. I spent a month there and it was pretty good.

Large studio apartment with brand new kitchen utensils and appliances. All the kitchen stuff for two. Could have used a grater for our nachos made under the broiler but not a deal breaker. Starbucks House Blend coffee packets for the little pot. Toilet and shower room separate from largish sink and open closet/shelving area. Huge windows full width of room, blackout blinds and curtains and tilt out lower section of windows for fresh air. Two relatively comfy desk type chairs, a rolling dining table, large combo dresser/desk/shelving unit with a 40 inch TV facing the bed. We were in #325 at the very end of the hallway and there was a ton of privacy and quiet and it was safe to leave the windows open 24/7. The bed is only a double and feels small as most people have larger beds at home but it's adequate and had 4 good pillows for the 2 of us. Great ceiling fan and the best lighting EVER in any hotel or rental accommodation I have been in world-wide. Clean & pristine except for a couple of dents in the wall. I could honestly live here. This summer is abnormally hot and dry so an air conditioner would have been good but the front desk provided both a tower fan and a large desk fan to augment the ceiling fan no charge and it worked fine. Totally walkable to decent pub, hospital, pharmacy, aquatic centre, Museum of Anthropology, and 15 minutes walk to the beach. Perfect spot to stay even if you aren't doing anything at the university. The bus loop is a 5 minute walk away so no need for a car here at all, we left ours parked for the whole stay.

I lived in the Gage Towers for 2 years and a studio apartment for 1 year. The location is very convenient, close to the bus loop. The studio comes with a TV and has blackout curtains, which are nice bonuses that Ponderosa does not have. Quite spacious and good layout.

The location of Gage apartments is perfect: it's right infront of UBC Receipt, as well as adjacent to North parkade. So, I can go home on the weekends and come back staright to my dorm.

1 bedroom apartments are surprisingly spacious. Lack a dishwasher, but have Mitsubishi wall mounted conditioning which is a huge plus if you like sleeping in the cold like I do. Lots of closet space and bathroom organizational room.
Could probably use some more pay-washers/dryers downstairs as well, as the ones they have tend to be rather sparse and busy.response / report this review
