When we stay there in 2003 the place was awesome, and that was before they redided the resort, but they could have done withe better personal at the front desk and housekeeping needed some help. The water taxi people super cool and awsome. The views and weather perfect. The pool at night can be super romantic if your adventures!

Awesome - Fantastic - & Laid Back describes my trip to Taino Beach resort and the Grand Bahama island. I had the best vacation that I have been on in a long time and it was extra special because I met two lovely ladies who work at Neptune's which is a great club at the Port Lucaya Marketplace. Hi Stacy and Tessa I am glad that I met you very beautifuI ladies and hope to see you again soon. I also met another nice lady Joyce and her husband Willie from texas (-:

My family and I go here every year for vacation and we are treated like family every time we go! The staff even remembers us and our names when we came back each year. The beach is super pretty and has clear water.

Beach and resort is very relaxing, hammocks etc, bartender is so friendly, but bathrooms have a smell, need better management of that. No balls for volleyball court, so why bother having one, tiles around slide are wobbly, safety hazard. Just not the bells and whistles it promises. Be careful with renting from people who have timeshare they told us three days before we left that it wasn't available and had to move us to another resort and they moved us to a low class resort

I absolutely LOVED my vacation stay at the Taino Beach Resort. It is a gorgeous property located in a stretch of beautiful beach and a very stunning pool. The staff at the resort was overall, very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we became members and will be returning yearly.

They provide very little and when toilet paper or tissue or dishwasher fluid run out u r expected to pay for it at the local store which is a few miles away and it's 4$ a person to ride the bus there. There is no roomsevice or maids u r told to do an linen exchange on ur own. They do leaf blowers at 8am and lawn mowers at 8am. The bar closes at 430

I spent a week at Taino Beach Resort (June 2017) and had an awesome time. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The pool and beach were perfect. You could rent beach towels in the front office for $10 and change them out as often as you needed. We were able to change out our towels and linens as needed with housekeeping. The wifi worked well in the front office and pool area.

The one bedroom suite had two pullout couches, a small dining room table with 4 chairs, a queen sized bed, built-in desk with chair, and 4 closets. Our balcony faced the pool and had a wonderful view of the water slide. The suite included starter supplies (dish soap, one roll of paper towels, toilet paper, miniature toiletries).

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the furniture in the suite and balcony could use some updating.

    Staff were rude and insulting.

Warning: If you have any kind of disability at all do not go to this resort. The staff are not equipped with any knowledge of what to do, become extremely rude and insulting towards you if are disabled.

Cool place. I visited the restaurant Junkanoo Beach Club which is a nice restaurant in front of the beach. Food was delicious and people very friendly.

Cool place with a water taxi that takes you back to the market area. They have a nice pool area with a swim up bar called the grotto. The bartender and staff were very nice and took great care of me. I was not staying on property but the resort looked very run down and damaged from the storm.
