I read so many negative reviews about this hotel, I almost booked somewhere else! Literally, 2 seconds from booking. The room size is what made me continue with the booking. It has a nice carribean vibe. The rooms were FULL apartmemt units! Very clean, very clean. Destiny welcomed us upon our arrival and she was awesome! She showed us so much love, we felt a part of the Bahamas!! "Way to go Destiny"! Jermaine, I.T guy, he was amazing! I've never met such nice people in my life, I will definitely stay here again. On the flip side, a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed in the hotel, And there wasn't much to do, besides lay by the beach! However, we booked excursions, and did very little at the hotel itself. Nice place, location isn't the best! Cab fees are expensive.. .

My husband and I were there the last week of September. Staff was great. They called our room several times during the week asking if we needed anything. Housekeeping came to our room every day with fresh towels, shampoo, etc. Maintenance had to come to our room to fix something and was there within 10 minutes after we informed them the item needed to be fixed. Service at restaurant excellent. They posted a list of resort activities every day and gave us a schedule for the week. Everything was very clean. The resort is within walking distance of other restaurants so you don't have to eat at the resort restaurant every day. They have a nice well stocked little store on site. There is a nice coffee shop on site. Bring plenty of cash as a lot of places around the island don't take cards. Our 2 biggest disappointments were poor internet service at the resort, pretty much useless, and no more free shuttle. Taxis only take cash and with no free shuttle anymore the taxis can really eat up your money. Other than that we really liked everything. We will definitely be back.

We arrived at the Island Seas following our departure of the Grand Carnival cruise ship. Check-in was not until 3pm, but we were allowed to store our luggage and enjoy the beach while we waited. We really enjoyed this resort considering the island is still recovering following hurricane Matthew. Our room was large and spacious and in one of the building across the street from the beach. This worked out to our advantage because we had a great view of the small marina and it was very quiet since all of the noise was near the rooms along the beach. The staff was friendly; specifically Ms. Lynn as she addressed all of our concerns that wasn't explained by our booking agent. The local seafood hut Bernie's supplied our entertainment (at their expense & ours) while we enjoyed great food. All in all, we had a great time while staying on the island.

I stayed at the resort back in the 90's. this was a great place to stay. I booked a week for a vacation. What I find was a nightmare. I came on a Friday and they told me that the market run was on Monday. I can buy something from their small store located on the property. I went to find eggs that were outdated and priced at almost $5. Everything was priced more than double. There is a 15% gratuity automatically added to all charges, and a lot of the workers don't earn it.The place does not have housekeeping daily,nor enough towels for all of their guests. I complained that I had to 'drip-dry', they didn't know what that was. I told them,it's when you have to drip until your dry. After almost 2 days I got them. Many of the other guests have had similar experiences. You still try to make the best of your vacation. The final straw was when I met a nice woman and we talked most of the morning. Security walked by and then came back and said what was my purpose there. I thought he had to be kidding, and I said talking to the nice lady. He said that I was harassing the guests. The rest got worse when I speak to the manager and front desk with no resolve and no one present complaining. The individual who sent the security never clarified the facts. I no longer felt comfortable staying here. I had to check out half way through my vacation.

What can I say? I absolutely loved my experience. Rooms are very nice. I had a memorable marina view with a balcony overlooking. Although they could use a few more employees to help out in certain areas to make things run a little smoother, I accepted that they are operating on "island time". I met some of the most wonderful people here, to include locals and guests and learned a lot about the local culture. Please, please keep in mind that these folks homes and communities were just ripped to shreds by a Hurricane in October, 7 short months ago. They are still trying to rebuild the island and their lives. The seas are still washing up glass and debris, so just be cautious. None of this hindered my stay on the island AT ALL. If anything, it made my experience all the better. Without the support of tourism, they don't have the funds to rebuild. I hope to return many times in the future. Farewell Island Seas, until we meet again!

This is one of my favorite spots in Freeport. The beach is beautiful and the staff is very nice. I went there in 2014 and 2015 and planning to go back in 2018. They have great food and nightly entertainment. I usually go in September when things are a little more quiet on the Island. My room is clean and housekeeping was very good with replacing my towels and providing me with any extra items needed. The pool was fantastic. It is in a private area and I was able to walk freely in the mornings. They have a nice restaurant food was always good or you can order from the bar menu very good also. I always stay on the poolside not the marina so check it out you won't be disappointed.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT. THESE GUYS ARE SCAM ARTISTS! We had a tour of the resort and it's awful. Not only does the resort suck compared to other resorts on Freeport, we were ripped off by the staff selling the timeshare like vacation deals. They ask you to go to a meeting and then rip you off. Save yourself the trouble we went through and don't attend any meetings or stay at this resort. They ripped us off $500 dollars and a LOT of wasted time trying to get our money back - which we never got. They tell you that there's a 7 day refund period but fail to tell you they will give you back the full amount. This company is run by liars waiting to rip you off once you stay there. We had a horrible experience and do not wish it on anyone. Save yourselves the trouble and warn your friends about this resort /company.

DO NOT STAY HERE! IT IS OVER RATED! LOW BUDGET! DIRTY AND SOMEONE STOLE MY BOYFRIEDS ANTANO OF HIS CAR! WE NOTIFIED SECURITY, WHO DID NOTHING. THEY SAY THEY HAVE CAMESRS BUT COULD NOT GET A CLEAR VIEW. MAYBE IF THEY CLEADED THEM THEY COULD GET A CLEARER VIEW! ROOMS SMELLED, HAD NETS AND A LEAKING PIPE THAT CAUSED MOLD AND IM A MEMBER AND NO ONE EVER CAME TO FIX IT. THE BLINDS WERE BROKEN AND SO WAS MY BABTHROOM SINK. THERE WAS A SHORTAGE OF LINEN DAILY. I REGRET BEING A MEMBER AT THIS PLACE. ALLS THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!!

I loved this resort! All types of fun and things to do! From the moment i got there sonya made me feel soo at home and comfortable since then everything was amazing..jermaine the bartender at coconuts was the best! I loved the security they were awesome very alert and on there job..island seas i will definitely be back year after year! Period
