Room was clean and hotel is in a good location. The only thing I didnt like was that the lifts smelt. Otherwise great stay.

Recently refurbished, the rooms are certainly fresh and spacious. The bathrooms are well setup (finally a hotel you don't get water everywhere). I like the touch of a wireless charging point for phones. My only complaint is that beer selection in the bar downstairs. They need to get out of the mainstream and at least have some decent craft beer in bottles.

The first person we met here at the Holiday Inn was a very kind receptionist who helped us and has continued to help us during our stay. From the first moment we set foot in the door, we have had nothing but helpful and friendly staff members assisting us in whatever we needed. Breakfast is delicious, and the proximity of the hotel to various attractions is such that walking is not a hassle, though the free tram's closeness to the hotel doesn't hurt at all. The Holiday Inn here on Flinders is a great place to stay if you are visiting Melbourne.

Construction going on during my stay. Elevators seemed old and VERY WELL used. Room was small but updated with a nice walk in shower. I dont think they vacuum everyday in the room, but they make the bed and take away the used towels.

Had breakfast buffet. Selection was OK but quality was lacking. It was also quite expensive and they also wanted to pass on a surcharge at the end for paying with a credit card. At some point I think the price point is high enough for a simple breakfast buffet that the hotel can eat the cost of a small cc surcharge and not annoy their customers with it. Wasn't the worst but certainly wouldn't recommend to others.

This hotel is currently under renovation, not that you'd know. I had a newly renovated room, which was comfy and bright, though slightly noisy air conditioning. Dinner in the bar was decent, and a surprisingly good range of beers. Service from the staff was lovely, though getting a card put under the door to thank me for staying with them might have been slightly over the top! (I'm platinum with the chain). The location is perfect if coming from the airport, and is just a short walk away from the Southern Cross train station (which is where the coach from the airport gets in). Would stay again.

Lunch. My experience was one of ordinariness. Not great, not terrible. Wine list was pedestrian or safe. The meal was ok. Service was attentive.

Located very convenient to enjoy the city center, especially in the evening. Friendly staff. Rooms in need of some renovation, but they are already working on that. Remember to book through their website, you get complimentary wifi.
