It is a quite, safe park. It is beautiful and at night you would be able to spot some ducks and bats and the benches are a perfect place to sit and talk to friends. You can walk throughout and public facilities are all nearby.
Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was lovely, with a view over Treasury Gardens and staff were always friendly and helpful.
The only detractor was breakfast. There was a 15 minute wait for a table at breakfast time when we went down at 9:20 am but staff were supportive, bringing coffee and checking in on us while we waited. By then we found the buffet breakfast items were depleted, unreplenished (hot food trays empty or on last scraps) and barely warm. We were looking forward to a nice lazy breakfast to top off a good night out, so that part was disappointing.
Enjoyed our stay very much, location beautiful and relaxing. View from room overlooking the Treasury Gardens and walking through the gardens was great. A walk through the Fitzroy Gardens a must. We have taken beautiful photos in the gardens. Shops and Trams in walking distance. Very centrally located to shops, trams and train.
Staff very helpful in getting you anywhere you would like to be. Clean and comfortable rooms. Makeup of room was great.
I found the check in/out experience very friendly and fast, the lifts were quick to get to your floor, cleaning staff always say hello. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning quiet and excellent. The room was nice size and shower design excellent. Security to rooms very good.
Location is excellent with lots of quality bars and restaurants close by.
My recent stay at Mercure Treasury Gardens was easy from booking through to check in, stay and check out. Staff were delightful, welcoming and human (I have a pet hate for robotic staff and the company line). Room was clean and comfortable. Happy hour at the bar was an added bonus. Thank you for making my time away from home more bearable!
NB I didn't need to use the wifi so therefore have not rated either way.
Lovely stay in a clean modern room overlooking the gardens, with a delicious buffet breakfast.
The room was well presented, clean and with the complimentary hot drinks and toiletries. The bed was comfortable and soft. The view from the window over the gardens was lovely and was a feature of the room. Being close to many different places was a plus and having a tram very close brings the further away parts of the city closer.
Whats on in Melbourne magazine was useful and helped develop our day in the city.
The buffet breakfast was magnificent - the range of hot and cold food and drink were really appreciated. This was definitely worth paying that little bit more :)
The express checkout was amazing!!
Thank you for the stay.
The only piece of criticism was that the bathroom was not sealed and so the noise from the bathroom could be heard outside in the room.
Enjoyed the stay. Front desk staff was.first rate, helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for me. Room was good, but plaster and paint details were worn or poorly done. I would recommend the place, and I will stay there again if in Melbourne.
Convenient, would have liked hotel pick up from airport so late at night. But great location, nice breakfast - would have like fresh brewed coffee :) Friendly staff
I spent two nights on a king bed that didn't have any flat surface on it whatsoever, bed must be old, so many body grooves on it. Location is good.
Had breakfast there, food was so so not good but not bad. Price was high for continental breakfast but it's the usual hotel rates
Venue for the conference was pleasant & comfortable. The staff were very friendly & informative in particular to assist with parking. Didn't stay overnight so cannot comment on accommodation
We returned at 10pm from the theatre just when the menu for room service becomes less appealing and the chef still had the kindness to prepare a last minute meal for my family, even send us a complimentary desert. Very gratefull and impress. Small things make the difference.
