Disgust .beware of the nasty short man. He is Rude, unprofessional arrogant and just plain nasty. He clearly has no customer skills.
He made two young tourists very upset by making them feel like idiots by raising his voice and speaking to them in such a rude tone I felt so sorry for them. I was ashamed to be an Aussie!
He then turned on us and his manner was again beyond poor.
Then again when I rang about a lost item in the car. He refused to call me back as he was to busy. Mmm great customer service.
Robert get some helpyou clearly are unhappy the way you treat people. Hertz I strongly suggest you put this person behind the scene and not at front desk, he is beyond belief.
He certainly knows how to ruin people's mornings. Go elsewhere!!!!response / report this review -

We collected our Toyota Camry from Hertz, Cairns Airport from a friendly staff member and the service was efficient and easy at the end of a long day. The car was beautifully comfortable and no problems. On returning the vehicle 5 days later, we were accosted by a very small man in a Hertz jacket, in the parking area, who was totally rude, arrogant and ignorant. He spoiled the end of our trip. He is a miserable, spiteful little man. We could not believe his stupidity and brash idiocy. How could Hertz spoil their brilliant staff presentation with this fool? We returned the key inside the airport at your counter and again, the smiles and efficiency were brilliant.

We booked a car for which it was stated that it can carry 2 big bags and 1 small one. Got a car completely impossible to load 2 big bags into the trunk. Asked to get another car fulfilling our needs and our booking. Caused long (we lost 1 hour) discussions with a very unfriendly employee about that we have to buy an upgrade to get a car fulfilling the 2 big bags promise. Finally got another (slightly bigger) one on a "goodwill basis", but I still can't see what the goodwill is to get a car which is conform to the Hertz description.
