Typical budget dilemmas cant reccomend any less service was terrible and i was charged a second time on a debit card without any permission or being informed. Will contact bank and ombudsmen this time disgraceful.

Just be aware. If you return your car earlier than the due date, it takes 3 weeks for you to receive the money.

During the check-in I realized that I forgot my driving license in the hotel, and they offered to drive me to the hotel, which was really nice of them. The car was almost new. I always have good experience with Budget.

When one does not make much money, to be given an online quote of $200 to then be charged $520 (because the small print about insurance was so small, and being a first timer at renting a car I had no idea this would come as an extra) was only the beginning. Then, to have that $520 come out of one's account when one's holiday had just started, only to have part of that returned to your account, so you assume that they've refunded the insurance because you did no harm to the car. And then, one WEEK later to have the full amount taken out again so that your account is now overdrawn because again, you don't make much money. It's a bit of a muck around and it's quite stressful. Budget, you need to get your payment system fixed so pending payment come out STRAIGHT AWAY and stay out, and make insurance charges more obvious when doing an online quote.

The checkin and checkout was pretty quick, especially the checkout. They even allowed me to add a gps when I forgot to add it when I booked online. Unfortunately, they gave me a semi-automatic when I booked an automatic without letting me know, so it the car was making weird noises for a bit.
