Hired a engel which broke before we went camping so was happy to swap then that one broke the morning we got to the camping spot so when we asked for our money back he said he would contact us to refund the money but never did.. it is cheap but i see why..products not very reliable and never got refunded for it.. dissapointed

We phoned after hours to see if we could pick up a tent and some gear at the last moment. Will, the owner, was very accommodating and waited hour after closing time for us to get there. We are not familiar with the area, but he spent at least 45 minutes giving us tips and showing us the best spots up the Cape. Our flight was early on a Monday morning, making drop off difficult. Will was more than accommodating with our drop off time, and even offered to drive us to the airport himself. Overall a really good experience with the company. Prices are also reasonable and equipment is good quality.

We hired a 4WD (Toyota landcruiser GXL 100) at CampersOZ for a 2 week camping trip in North-Queensland (Lakefield and Palmer River NP). Together with the car we rented the camping gear (2 tents, sleeping bags, chairs, cooking gear, fridge etc etc) and gold pans to use in the Palmer River gold fields. Our family of 4 with 2 teen-aged kids had a great trip. If you are a bit adventurous, I can definitely recommend hiring a 4WD with camping gear and take it for a trip up north. The car we hired was older, but that was not an issue. Staff at CampersOZ was very helpfull in providing tips for driving off-road (we had no experience).

Second time we have used this company for a 4 x 4 vehicle rental . Reliable, honest, professional and easy to deal with. Highly maintained vehicles. Would definately recommend them!

I recently undertook one of CampersOZ recently launched 4WD guided tours. The day trip was to the Daintree and Cape Tribulation region with commentary from the very knowledgeable and informative guide. Morning and afternoon tea was provided as well as a scrumptuous 3 course cooked lunch prepared by our guide, Doug. We ate beside a beautiful tropical creek north of Cape Tribulation and for those who wanted complimentary wine and beer it was served. The ambience was truly magic. On our return journey we stopped on the water front at Port Douglas and sipped complimentary champagne, ate cheese and biscuits while watching the sun set over the ranges. It was delightful and what wonderful memories are made of! If you're looking for a tour around the north of Cairns, a relaxing time, and a fully catered tour, then this is the one for you.
