Food good but not sure it is worth the wait. Expect 30 minutes for takeaway. It has taken this long on three separate occasions. I won't be returning.

Provided the quintessential hospitality that was only matched by their amazing Nepalese food. Everybody was a sweetheart and the food was absolutely delicious. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant I was welcomed with open arms. The restaurant’s atmosphere was warm and friendly and it was just an overall lovely restaurant to enjoy good food with your family and friends. I have nothing but good things to say about Gurkhas.

We had ordered a whole lot, from momos to Nepalese thalis (including Nepalese beers) and every dish on the table was amazing. Would highly recommend to people who like South Asian cuisine.

Never order take out from here! Waited almost 2 hours, gave up and cancelled order and made toast. Saturday night RUINED. Previously had good experience dining in but will never order take out from here again.

Food is fine as is the service. Nothing remarkable about it but nothing to put you off coming again. It was a bit odd that when I asked to take the leftovers home the owner gave me the plastic containers to pack it up myself, never had that happen at a restaurant before.

Delicious food good price. Wine glasses are on the small side. Staff is friendly. Best roti I've had in Melbourne. Dessert was fantastic, nothing dairy free though.

Friday after my work I went in the city to just try something new and .I ordered the meal something with the goat in Gurkhas restaurant and after 25-30 min of waiting I call the waitress to see what is happening.She apologise me and bring me a chicken old rice not fresh you could see from the .and I ask what is kind of meal is.She apologise again .its ok we are all human with mistakes I didn't like the service of the ladies they were ignoring me for long time they saw me but who. caresAfter I received the meal I had enough and I went to pay mango drink..They offer me the meal if I wait few minutes but I had enough.To be honest I didn't like the way I was treated.The first waiters was very nice with grasses but other twowho knows

Really tasty food and attentive staff. We ordered vegetarian feast for 2 and that was a very generous amount of food + delicious desert.
