Ravinder, our waitress, was attentive and provided excellent service for our dinner. Food was absolutely delicious and the spice was very spicy which was exactly what we wanted. Still feeling the burn - no regrets. Totally worth it.

The restaurant is located at housing area wouldn’t have find it without my gps. The customers service is definitely earned a 5 stars from me shame I forget to ask about the server’s name. She was so attentive and constantly care about how we like the food and drink. Food was excellent I really admire how much variety of authentic Indian food they serve even asked to keep the menu for a bit to go through them one by one 👌🏼 well done guys!

This is surely one place in Melbourne that you CANNOT turn your back on. Tandoori Flames has not only raised their bar on providing exceptional mouthwatering food but maintaining this status time after time. We’ve tasted their food at dine in and their catering services and it’s very hard to distinguish the difference as we’ve got the same vibe at each instance.
Jimmy/Deepti are amazing hosts and such down to earth people that they create a great ambience that one feels just special.
We recently used their catering services and they did not let us down. The chefs produced some finger licking foods and our guests were very pleased with the service. Their staff are not only friendly but very cooperative. So we would like to thank you and your team for doing an exceptional job.
This really goes to show that food is their Passion and not just a job! Well done team.

They were absolutely amazing. We had the best experience for our wedding. Couldn’t have asked for a better caterer for our multicultural wedding. They took care of all of our requirements and the food was amazing. All of our guests loved our food and we had an amazing experience.

I recently hosted my sons first birthday party at this venue and I'm very pleased with the food, staff and pricing. All my guests loved the food and the restaurant environment. I would like to give a special thanks to Deepty for making my party a memorable one. She helped a lot with every stage of party like decorations, cake, photographer and excellent food. I had me twins first birthday celebration here.. well organised with good food and exceptionally well service by the staff ritu and neha. We and all the guests loved every single dish.The owner Deepti helped in arranging the decoration and it was done very nicely. Will definitely recommend to friends and family😊.

“Our Diwali Celebration at our home was a great success! Most of the credit is due to Catering services by Tandori flames. Serving Indian food as canapés is difficult but Jimmy and his team did it in a very professional way. The food was superb and beautifully presented. The appetizers were so good and plentiful that some guests didn’t believe you were also serving us dinner! And, that the dinner was so authentic. You really can design a menu for every occasion.

You and your superb staff made the event so special for our guests that they are still raving about it. The guest list was full of high achieving professionals, who attend many parties, who believed that this was best Indian catering party.

Brilliant atmosphere, service, and food.

Received a warm welcome on arrival and found the restaurant very nicely decorated (fantastic lighting and table settings).

Service was prompt and attentive, without feeling rushed.

The menu had a great variety of dishes, including an excellent vegetarian selection. The food itself was rich and filling (medium spice was manageable).

Would definitely recommend and revisit.

tandoori flames south . my family recently attended thus restaurant for the first time. for my sisters birthday.

the food was excellent I particularly have a favourite butter chicken, after having the dish at this restaurant it would know be my favourite place to get this dishes. defiantly be going again

Wow! What a great spot. The most amazing food and the service was the cherry on top of an already 5 star sundae. Will definitely be returning for many more delicious dishes and memorable evenings! If only I could give more stars! You will not be disappointed.

What a great dining experience! I come here often and it never gets old. The girlfriend and I attended this past weekend and had a great time. We loved the belly dancing and entertainment, as well as the fantastic service and Food! Top notch!
This time we had the lamb curry with Jasmine rice and the butter chicken, and it was amazing!
Definitely be returning soon, and recommend it to anyone in the area for a little taste of India.

We had our daughters first Birthday party at Tandoori Flames .Simply superb and Exceptional in everything @ Tandoori Flames. Jimmy who owns restaurants is your go to guy and gives you all ideas as well as organises everything for you. All you need to do is rock up and Enjoy. Decor of restaurant is Elegant . Spacious dance floor to groove to Bose surround speakers.
Such a great service, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious , well replenished and absolutely authentic. Highly recommended.

This place is fantastic! I love Indian food and this has to be the best I have ever had. The stuff were so friendly and happy and were so helpful. The garlic cheese Naan is the best thing that I ever put into my mouth. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting to enjoy some amazing food in a great atmosphere. My only problem was that this restaurant isn't next door to my house.. keep up the great work team and I'll see you next time!

Had a great time at Tandoori Flames. Had a 70 person Christmas function with people at work and had an awesome time. Was incredibly affordable with a $45 dinner menu with starters, main, dessert and drinks all provided in the price. However, the best thing that we had there was the flawless and immaculate service that all the staff gave us. There attention to detail was incredibly appreciated, and we will be back for another function in the future. :)

I booked a function at Tandoori Flames, the service was quick and the food was delicious, great authentic Indian food. The table settings were immaculate and I was impressed by the detail they had gone to in order to make the function welcoming and well polished; I was proud to show my guests such a lovely display. The belly dancers we saw were incredible, I've done belly dancing classes myself and could not imagine even comparing to the skill and allure the ladies exuded. Like I said, the food was delicious, I couldn't find a flaw with it, even my guests who were troubled by spicy foods were well catered for and had no complaints (my grandfather in particular). Personally, I like a very spicy curry and my needs were also catered for. The food came quickly and my guests were not left waiting, and the drinks service beforehand were swift and accurate, everyone received the correct beverages in an orderly fashion. The wait staff were polite and attentive and brought out the banquet style meal with aplomb and efficiency. The empty plates were cleared once everyone had finished eating, not before (as I find removing plates while patrons are still eating to be rude) and more drinks were offered and desserts upon the completion of the main course. I would definitely recommend Tandoori Flames to anyone looking for a different venue and menu to impress their guests for a birthday, anniversary, or any function. I was highly impressed, hence my five star rating.

I'm usually from the south of the city, but my friend talked me into coming to Kingsville to visit his favourite Indian restaurant. I'm glad he did, because it was worth the drive. The food was full of flavour - I particularly loved the rogan josh, which had just the right amount of cardamom to really bring out the flavour of the dish. The staff were warm and friendly, and smiled from the moment I walked in the door until I left (much more full than when I entered). The restaurant itself was clean and the atmosphere vibrant. I'm looking forward to venturing back out west to visit again!

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! There isn't a single thing I could fault. The service, the food everything was exceptional! The catering was amazing! They arrived on time and the food was delicious, just like what we had initially tasted. The whole booking process was smooth, easygoing and stress free, with great customer service! The prices were really reasonable and could not have been happier with Tandoori flames all around! I'd strongly recommend them to anyone looking for Indian catering for any event. I personally had 500+ guests at my Wedding Reception and i can say all left extremely happy and satisfied with the food. Once again thank you Jimmy & Deepti!!!
