Friendly and helpful staff. Bought a bike on the phone. Let Mocha know I had to drive over an hour to get there after work and should be there before closing. He told me not to rush and would wait back if need be so I didn't need to rush. Great bike store and wished I lived closer so I could call them my new favourite local bike store.

Great service from Bike Zone Fitzroy, Mocha provided great advice on frame size, when buying from interstate you want to get it right first time. Order late Tuesday and the bike arrived Saturday, well boxed and easy to assemble, we now have a gravel bike for the Christmas hols. Thanks Bike Zone

Very helpful staff, easy to communicate with would highly recommend to anyone looking for that special bike your chasing.

After I had my beloved bike stolen, Mocha gave a great deal on a fantastic new bike! He fitted it with a basket and lights and has been so helpful ever since. I've gone back to Mocha for everything since getting my bike and every time he has been so generous with his time and has given me great prices on everything. Recently, after a car hit me on my bike, Mocha was more concerned with how I was - he was very caring and he put on a new wheel for a very good price. Thanks Mocha, I will always come back to your fantastic shop! :-)

Outstanding service, great quality bike, cheap prices. I'd just like to address some points that others have made in these reviews:

- 'treating customers as money bags' - I was talked out of a more expensive bike because the cheaper one was better. And I couldn't even find that bike online for cheaper. Then I had my mud guards fitted at no extra cost. Then when I returned because the mud guards were rubbing a bit - I had complete new ones put on, taking considerable time - all for no extra cost.

- 'Do not expect good service' - Mokka knows bikes like no one else. He doesn't hold back from his opinion. He is an expert. That's what I want in service.

I can't recommend enough.

Pros: worked hard for initial sale (like a greasy used car salesman)
Cons: communication (mocked me for asking for ABN, called me "stupid") & post-purchase customer service.
Me: experienced rider (8,000+ kms a year), charity ride organizer, self-taught bike mechanic
Post-Script: do business with Latte at your own risk.

Never in my life have I taken the time to write a review, good or bad. After today's experience at bike zone however, I felt I had no choice. Never in my life have I experienced such rude customer service, from the owner no less. I will never shop here again.

The service was terrible.
The owner was so rude, not friendly and super agressive.
I never go there agian.

my bike tube was flat. he said tube cost was $20 but the fix fee was $40. so I had to pay $120 both side. how come? it supposed to be $80 total. and he said "the tube is no guarantee after you go out the shop." okay make sense. but I've ridden only 3times and I parked my bike inside our apartment parking area. and it suddenly flat? it means it was faulty one!!!!!
anyways. he is very rude and aggressive.
he said if it's faulty I don't need to pay but if not, I have to pay again. I don't want to pay here again. I wanted to fix other shop. but he was unreasonable. haha so bad.
I am very angry now.
