  Without doubt the best hair salon in Melbourne!
  Super chill vibe, a beautiful salon, massage wash chairs, complimentary drinksand to top it off, the best hairdressers I've ever been to!
  Meg is an absolute gem - the condition of my hair has improved dramatically since going to see her and I always get complimented from others on the colour. From the minute you walk in the door, to when you leave, the customer service is 10/10. I have already recommended Telleish to two friends and will continue to do so with others! Thank you team!

  I recommend Jo for blonde. She was amazing from start to finish. Her skill for colour and attention to detail is on point and I felt she took her time with working out what needed to be done. Am really happy!

  I feel so grateful to have found this salon and the wonderful Nina 🧡 My hair was left in an awful state after a dodgy highlighting experience, Nina has worked with me for the last 6 months to correct it and I couldn’t be happier. She’s so passionate and talented, I can’t recommend her and the team at Telleish enough!

  Telleish Hair Studio is a truly exceptional establishment; providing the utmost high standard of hair artistry in Melbourne.
  I first visited the salon in October 2017 with the goal of undergoing a hair transformation from my then; blue black permanent dyed hair to a natural blonde balayage.
  Before undergoing any major hair transformations, I was required to attend a free consultation with one of the stylists. In order for them to assess my hair,
  the integrity, and decide what steps will be taken to begin the process. During this consultation a strand test was done, (bleach is put on the strand of hair to
  measure how it reacts to the bleach over time) I was offered to sit with the bleach or to have a tiny strand from the under side of my hair cut so I didn’t have to wait,
  which is what I opted to do. I was contacted over Facebook that same evening with the results and what the required steps would need to be taken, in order
  for me to achieve my hair goals. Safety and integrity of the hair is a huge factor considered at Telliesh. They will not risk your hair falling out to achieve platinum
  blonde hair in one sitting if your hair wouldn’t handle it. All of the stylists are extremely knowledgable, and understand the science behind hairdressing.
  Not only do the stylists have and in-depth knowledge in hair, but they are all truly warm and caring souls. Some hairdressing salons can make you feel uncomfortable,
  out of place or have this not very open environment about them, definitely not at Telliesh. The studio itself is beautiful, with an monotone industrial modern charm,
  with all these beautiful professionals there for you. The salon also offers free beverages throughout your session such as cappuccino’s, chai lattes, hot chocolate etc.
  I was told from the beginning that in order to achieve the big transformation I wanted, it would take time.
  You cannot rush perfection; unless you want your hair to be in bad condition. My entire hair transformation spanned over 1 Year and 4 months, and I was able to
  finally achieve the hair that I’ve always wanted but never been able to get anywhere else. I owe this to the talented stylists and following their instructions to achieve
  this. Ensuring to purchase the products they recommend is a part of how well you want your hair to be looked after. Attending a salon can go so far,
  but being prepared to do the home-care is what gives the stylists the ability to push your hair to its most maximum perfection. Using Olaplaex religiously
  to maintain and retain the bonds of the hair whilst being bleached over this process is incredibly important, and truly makes your hair feel like silk. Regular trimming!
  Something most of us women fear, but it makes a huge difference and allows your hair to reach its best potential. If you want to undergo a big hair transformation,
  and want to do it without damaging your hair, Telleish is the studio that you must visit. It is a journey that takes time, but is completely worth it.

  Thank you so much Telleish. I came in on a busy Saturday and asked for a bit of a lighten up, which they executed perfectly. However when I got home I felt like the colour wasn't really me (although beautiful) and my long hair was a little drier than usual. I called up to explain the situation and they immediately slotted me into the next available spot, toned my hair down and put a treatment in my hair- which immediately softened it. I'm so impressed, most hairdressers would take this stuff personally, but they really listened and ended up giving me my dream hair.

  Friendly professional salon. Danny is a star. She listens to and understands your hair goals. She keeps your hair in excellent condition and does amazing blondes. Very pricey but very worth every penny

  I really appreciated Chantelle on my last visit, I must say I didn't expect someone who has done so many notable people's hair to be this humble! I'm just a normal customer and she still treated me so well and was extremely friendly. The only reason I took a star off was because I found the price too high. It is DEFINITELY worth it but as a student, I wish there was a student discount!

  Proud to be a Telleish babe. I've honestly never been happier with a salon experience and I'm not someone who is easy to please. If you are serious about having seamlessly coloured, healthy hair, in a relaxed environment go see the team lead by the wonderful Chantelle. Everyone at Telleish performs their work with precision, perfectionism, honesty and integrity. I think what differentiates Telleish from their competitors is that they take their time, don't cut corners, are authentic, friendly and they all genuinely care about the health of every head of hair that is put before them. My lovely Tanisha takes care of me, and I always look forward to my time in her chair. T has such a beautifully warm nature, an eye for detail and a skill set that is well beyond her years. I'd highly recommend booking in with her or any of the team, because they bust out some of the most beautiful colour work and precision cuts in the industry. For reference, my hair is fine, I have lots of it and it is naturally black. I booked in for a colour correction for my first appointment (photos below) and T busted out this beauty in a half day sitting. Absolutely worth the time and $$ spent. Chantelle, you should be proud of the culture you've created at Telleish, it is one that I don't think will ever be able to be replicated. I'm so happy to be part of the Telleish family!

  I had my hair colored and cut yesterday by Danielle and I couldn't be happier with my experience.
  I found this salon by googling "best hair salon Melbourne" as I just moved here from California. I saw raving reviews about talented stylists and friendly staff & after scrolling their Instagram a few times, I scheduled an appointment with Danielle.
  She surpassed my expectation and delivered a memeroable service. She gave me the color I wanted and maintained the integrity of my hair. I felt very comfortable with her and in the salon.
  The staff really is warm and friendly - I had two other stylists check in on me to see if I needed anything while waiting for my hair to process. (You won't feel a 'competitive' or 'drama' vibe here at all! I loved that.)
  This salon is truly exceptional. Highly recommend giving Telleish a go.

  I've been going here for a couple of years after reading some really good reviews. It took me forever to find a place in Australia that could dye my hair as well as they did back in California. I always make my appointments with Ross who totally understands how I like to have my hair done and is always looking out for what will be best/healthy for my hair! All the staff are friendly as well! So happy I found this place!
