The team at Second Ave Hair are the colour and cut specialists. They have been my hairdresser for the last 10 years. The team will assess your hair and determine what needs to be done to give your hair the shine, colour or calmness it needs. Through their care and experience, they just know. I always walk out feeling fresh and rejuvenated. Would highly recommend Second Ave Hair.

Living locally I have just started using this salon and must say Sam is absolutely brilliant! Listened to what I wanted and gave me a great cut!

Sam is a good cutter, I’ve been going there for years, but in last 12 months the time management has become progressively worse. Seem to always be running 30-45min behind. So if you are prepared to wait past your appointment time, even if you book, then I recommend Sam as a cutter, but if you need to be in and out on time, I don’t recommend. I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Highly recommended - extremely friendly & professional team. I walked in and they managed to squeeze in an appointment, despite the busy schedule. The team did a fantastic job with hair colouring and love the hair cut too, way better than what I had in mind. Would definitely visit again. Thanks guys!

I've been going to second avenue for many years SAM and his staff have been looking after my wife and I and now my 2 boys.
The team have always been more then willing to accomodate us with any appointments.
I can recommend this small but really personal salon to anyone.
We understand that sometimes we all run behind schedule including myself.
The longest I've ever waited for my stylist is 15 minutes.
10 minutes on the waiting chair and 5 minutes having a luxurious scalp massage in the very comfy basin chairs.

Made an appointment to see the beautician, but was left waiting for over 20 minutes with no sign of her, and no apology for running late. Left without getting service done. Very unimpressed.
