Nothing but wonderful memories of this place, although I did love the original Beatty Park. Before all the upgrades.!! Their is no grass to lay on anymoreThe diving boards hardly get used as they are always closed.
With Australia's climate & soaring heat waves though, I must say that the indoor swimming area is a winner.!! Especially for the little ones!! I even just loved sitting in the stands watching races & my dad was a great water polo player, so I spent a lot of time here as a child. Awesome memories. It's going to be 31c today, so let's go.

Great community recreation centre. Very good and well maintained gym equipment. Bike lockers included in your membership which I like!

It's quite a big centre with large indoor and outdoor pools, great sauna and steam room. Hireable lockers for $1 an hour, indoor cafeteria. Staff is friendly and everything is well organised.

Great facility, empire games heritage well preserved and blends beautifully with the new renovations. Kids pool and open cafe makes for a pleasant place to hang out with toddlers year round.

Everything you need under one modern roof. After the renovation here a few years ago the gym and group fitness has become the best in the area. The sound in the group fitness room is fantastic with plenty of Medan clean equipment in the gym.

Loved the fact that the little pool for toddlers and babies has slides and other playing stuff and enough shallow space and area for non swimmers to splash and have fun, below 4 years old kids have to have accompanion with them in the water. Not bad coffee and nice cafeteria available.

Great facilities. The gym has all the equipment you can possibly use. They also have indoor and outdoor swimming pools. They provide both group fitness classes and personal training sessions.

Safe, well lit. Large indoor pool with shallow area for small kids containing slides and inflatables. Double slides are for older kids, well supervised by lifeguards. Large outside pool area with grandstand seating. Nice areas to sit and enjoy the sun too.
