Excellent service. I'm an enthusiast and have been shopping from them over years. The staff are helpful especially young Vincent,he goes out of his way to help. Today I had an issue with my lens cap. Went to service department, the young lady with glasses were very helpful. The problem fixed on the spot. That is an old school and that's why I keep going there. Thumps up to you guys !

I am so glad I found this store yesterday,I never knew they even existed.

I was chasing a not so popular crop sensor canon lens and needed it before I went away.I made at least 8 calls to different stores (some with not so good phone skills) and then finally got hold of Dave at Camera Electronics.He said he may have some stock and rang me back asap with good news that he had found me my lens.I was over the moon and they held it till I arrived.He went above and beyond to help me.
Everyone there seemed really nice too,so I know where I will be shopping from now on.
See you all again for my next purchase.

It's the best place to service your camera or fix your lens.

I got a 16-35 mm lens that snapped open as I dropped it. Lens mount and glass separated. I brought it here and it's as good as new after a reasonable wait. It's been working for the last 2 years and longer provided that I don't drop it again.

Home from dream Mediterranean Cruise to find video files corrupted. Domenic and Chris at Camera Electronic were able to recover most files for us. Precious memories salvaged. Thank you.

I have bought from these guys for 20 years now. Even after I moved to Melbourne, I still prefer to buy from them. I recently visited them again when I was in Perth, and none of the staff knew me or realized how much I had spent in that shop over the years (over $20k). Fair enough, I very rarely walk in given that I live interstate! Even then, they were extremely helpful and friendly. This is an old school shop, where you get personal service. These guys are the best reason why you should save your bricks and mortar shop!

Awesome Service and Support.
While we have been to the store many times over the years. At all times they make you feel welcome and ever so supportive. We recently needed to hire some equipment from Camera Electronics.
The Service and Support was above and beyond what we expected.
Heidi in the rental department was awesome.
She took the time by phone and email to go through all of the details for what we were looking at prior to booking.
Once we had booked and gone in to pick up the equipment. She followed up with some very helpful guidance on the equipment needed.
This was simply outstanding. Making the experience even better than they have always been.

Highly Recommended.
Camera Electronic has Perth’s best range of competitively priced gear along with the knowledge to back up its products.
Having dealt with the Stirling Street store for many years, I recently dealt with the Perth Murray Street store.
Unfortunately due some miscommunication and circumstances outside of their control my recent order was delayed.
Upon hearing of the hiccup, Camera Electronic Director Saul Frank combined with Murray Street store manager Domenic Papalia, went out of their way to ensure my experience in dealing with them was second to none.
Without going into specifics, I walked away a very happy customer who will return for my next photography purchase.
An absolute rarity in this day and age, where customer service is often lacking. A family owned and run business, with heart and “Saul” always striving to provide the best possible service.

I am a novice photographer and found Carlos Arevalo's knowledge and experience very helpful. He recommended a camera bag which is perfect for my needs and also helped to set up and test the Peak Design camera clip. I love it and was very grateful to be able to talk to someone who knew the products and was happy to demonstrate them as well.
