It was our first trip after marriage and the hotel staff upgraded our room. That shows how considerate they are, staff are very polite, helpful, approachable. Amazingly delicious food and beverage. The architectural design of the resort is unusual yet attractive. The resort have their own beach. Rooms are either pool view or beach view. Rooms are available with private small pool. Will recommend 2-3 nights stay.

I enjoyed my very brief time here & will certainly recommend for a time away.
Good, easy to find location, really helpful staff and the ambience is everything you can expect from a Resort of this calibre. The options of rooms and villas was good to see accommodating for large groups & families with great sea views (was very calming). Good facilities, infinity pools and Spa.
Few restaurant options on the premises with the main one offering themed nights which I found delightful.
With all that said, I certainly would not recommend for a solo traveller.response / report this review -

We got a 2 bedroom villa and everything is perfect starting from the location, staff and facilities. All swimming pools and beach are seriously life guarded. The resort is good for singles and families, it's kids friendly with kids area activities. Prices in the bars are reasonable. The Spa also was a great experience.

Wonderful stay! Clean rooms, perfect room-service, super excellent quality breakfast, awesome situated location for watching the sunrises and sunsets, friendly staff. This hotel has very good location from walking distance from everything in the city center, it’s a really lucky decision to stay here. The bed was very much comfortable, simple and nice, clean hotel with polite and helpful area and stuff.

It's an amazing resort. Very very beautiful location. It's located in the hill slope, so the whole property has got a very good view of the ocean. The Sunset, infinity, pool is simply superb. It's massive and water is temperature controlled. The pool has got an awesome view too. We stayed in 1 bedroom Villa. It has an indoor pool and was only free minutes walk away from the beach. There are water sports available, for which you have to pay. I did kayaking and I could see many stingrays, turtle, fishes and jelly fish. Hence it was worth the experience.

Amazing beach front property. We, as a group, stayed in a 3 bedroom duplex villa. Two bedrooms with ensuite baths, a living room and a small pool with a balcony and large sit out area were located on the ground floor. A water body outside with a beautiful view of the sea. One bedroom with another large balcony was on the first floor.
As it is a huge property, carts are provided for commuting to different areas.
Service was excellent as all our requests were immediately attended to.
Food was delicious at the sunset bar and the restaurants. The breakfast spread, with live stations, was treat!
The views from the infinity pool are breath taking. The children thoroughly enjoyed their stay.response / report this review -

The cove rotana is a great place for a relaxed time out. The staff is amazingly courteous and very helpful. The property is beautifully located in a secluded sort of area besides a wonderful stretch of beach. The restaurants are decent as well. Highly recommended!

Truly a great weekend getaway! I had the best sunset swim in my entire life! The sun was literally standing on the water in front of me. You can just walk all the way towards the horizon, that is how shallow the waters are. The villas are very nice with private pool & garden. Go for a villa if you are in a group, great for throwing a party. Never wanted to leave this place.

Excellent beachfront resort! The sand on the beach was soft as talcum powder and the water was the perfect temperature (in December). We were upgraded at the reception to a 3-bedroom villa (7 of us) which was lovely, spacious and had a private pool. Great breakfast buffet, but room service was strange - they expect you to pay for it ahead of time at the front desk. How are we supposed to predict and plan for ordering room service??! Overall, a great experience though.

The Cove Rotana is a lovely resort on the outskirts of Ras Al Khimah. The staff were very friendly and the food was nice, but the restaurant at breakfast time was slightly crowded. The lagoon was slightly smelly. and The resort itself was very difficult to find. We knew where it was but the directions and access were extremely difficult to locate. This was very frustrating; where one wrong turn and you'll be on the freeway back to Dubai. I think the staff assume that it will be easy for everyone to find. Still a decent getaway. Black sandy beaches were not very attractive and I still can't find the 'unsubscribe' button for the numerous emails that I keep getting from them.

Lovely situated resort resembling a coastal village, spanish style. Several restaurants, a beach bar and a private beach as well as two separate pools for the guests. A combination of villas (some privately owned, some with private pools) and hotel rooms makes the resort feel spacious. Especially worth it with a Rotana card or when booking an all-inclusive stay.

This is a very nice resort. We tried the water sports, and that was fun. The beach is not the best, there are stone steps you have to go down to get from the beach to the ocean. The houses are big, private and clean, but there is no cutlery, plates or glasses in the kitchen, and you have to pay for that. The restaurants are nice, and every thing is here. To train to leave. The biggest problem was tjeck in and tjeck out. Both took one hour

I booked a deluxe room in Cove Rotana hotel & this is my sixth time visit and stay in this great hotel for relaxing.

It is one of best places in RAK. Many variations of pleasure and business. You like a nice relax or go for a swimming. Rather a business dinner or a relaxing week, weekend. All in one few swimming pools and pool bars.. Enjoy a Shisha.. On terrace. Very kind and nice service. People are kind..

We had a great staycation here. When we arrived they upgraded us to a villa with its own private pool and garden so we were super happy! The food was very good and we had a lovely bottle of wine! We'll definitely be going back.

Amazing Resort stay. The temperature pool was the best part. Really loved the customer service and the free ride around hotel. The service was brilliant, they provided conplimentary cake as it was someone's birthday. Rates are worth it. Much better if visited during winter season.

Two negetives: 1. We were living in the Cove Village and they don't offer room service their. We were thirsty late night and they refused to get us water.
2. The staff were all very unhappy. Nobody smiled at the guests at all.

The most amazing and relaxing place I have ever visited. My family and I visit it frequently. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great. Needs a game room for teenagers only.

Great hotel with excellent service and an amazing view. The food was always very good and cooked and presented with love. The beach and the pools were very nice and it was easy to get a good place. The rooms were very clean and I recommend you, to book a villa with private pool if possible. The stuff was very friendly and fulfilled all wishes very fast. The bars are very comfortable and nice. There is just one problem with the hotel. The drinks and food excluded from all-inclusive and after 11pm are a bit too expensive for my opinion. Overall the hotel is very recommendable!!!! I had a great time.
