Absolutely amazing proper 5 star hotel dry hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here for our anniversary and previously came here for our honeymoon. They always went out their way to make sure everything was just perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and very large. Great food and very high quality fit and finish to every area of the hotel. Impeccably clean hotel. Fantastic private beach to relax on and also within the hotel is a spa. Perfect for couples, families or even single travellers. I highly recommend this hotel. The sheer presence of the hotel oozes luxury, this was the second time we were staying here and it was nice to see that the staff treated us like old friends. Forget Dubai, that is for amateurs, for real luxury and to be able to relax and enjoy yourself this is the place to come.

Really enjoyed my stay at Marjan Island Resort. It’s one of the best places if you wish to relax, have a lot of fun, enjoy it with your partner as well as with your family.
Staff are so friendly and professional.
We had the best experience with front office staff and management, who warmly welcome us and provided us with all we needed.
Mr. James at reception is simply a star 🌟 with the way he treats each and every guest, helping them and ensuring they feel as comfortable as they as at home.
This is a place to definitely visit back.

I would specially like to thank Ms. Anusha Silva in Al Liwa restaurant who went out of her way to provide us with food that we requested for our child and getting a cake for our son whose birthday we were celebrating. Marjan Island Hotel resort is located in Marjan Island, RAK. The hotel has two beaches one on the back and in front called Turtles beach. Whenever I visit this hotel, its a complete destress experience. Very quiet location. Just love this place. A great hotel to enjoy with your family

Over all it’s nice place. The room was clean and tidy, staff are attentive. In general I like it except just one small issue: the blanket is synthetic- I didn’t feel hot but always was sweating even inside the room temperature set to 21,

I love the ambience of this place. With spacious rooms and very clean rooms. Even though I was given a smoking room when I booked a non smoking, I was not in the least bit uncomfortable. I would easily recommend this place for a weekend visit as it's great for families and couples. Great choice of food with multiple restaurants for our dining needs and a separate play area for the kids of all ages. The lovely weather and cool sea breeze just makes this place even better

Facilities offered could be improved especially in terms of timing, as everything closes down early.
Not many food options so had to order room service and the quality of food was worst than average restaurants. Only liked their breakfast buffet at Liwan.
The suite, however was very well maintained with quick room service. They also offered a complimentary cake for bride to-be.

Overall the our experience was very positive. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very nice and clean and our was as described. As the weather was very hot, it was nice to get a free short ride to the nearby Turtle beach. The location was beautiful. The only negative thing I would say is that we booked on a half board basis. But this did not include and drinks at lunch or dinner. I’ve stayed half board in Dubai before and it always includes drinks but at a limit. It’s not very clear when booking that the drinks are extra. Also there was not a lot of variety in the food. The weekend has a better variety of food. But it was a similar thing everyday. So the food got a bit boring. But the deserts and breakfast were really good. We also had an issue when checking out with regards to getting our deposit refunded to the card. I was told I would get an email when this has been resolved. We checked out over a week ago and still no email.

Although we where not hotel and we were looking for a kayak to rent
the staff kindly directed us to the place on the phone and they gave us their complimentary transfer to the turtle beach, where it was so easy to rent anything from a boogey board to jet skies. nice and serene place. affordable pricing. calm water.

The hotel room suite we booked was spacious, although didn't have the full beach view. It was a partial view and hence not value for money.
The room service when he cleaned our rooms didn't supply us with fresh towels, so we ended up using same towels for both days.
Service for beach transfer (golf carts) was good and the beach itself is good.
The swimming pool water was for some reason too salty.
Can be better if there is one more outdoor swimming pool as the one was very crowded.
Al Liwan restaurant menu is too limited. This definitely needs improvements.

My husband and I booked to stay on 24th July to celebrate his birthday. We received a lovely welcome and I had some special birthday celebration request which were met. However I was not pleased with the fact that our bed was 2 twin beds joint into one which was very comfortable as while booking I was said we'll have a king bed. Also, we were placed on the 1st floor near the pool so in the morning it got very noisy. The bathroom had no tub unlike the pictures in the website and also no bathrobes.

The place is good, calm and peaceful. Sports facility is quite good but I did not use it as I was disappointed with the staff. Don't know how to entertain customer. The beach is not really nice to swim however me and my family enjoyed the pool. Breakfast is fine, served healthy food.

I requested for upgraded room and high floor and all the requests are fulfill. We was upgraded to suite and had beautiful beautiful view. The receptionist who checked in was professional and she explained hotel facilities. Some receptionist repeat this info like they are reading the script. But Marjan resort receptionist was explaining in a very patience way. We had issue with door lock and it was fixed in a minutes and surprisingly the operator called us and followed up is that all right now. We are being cared about all the requests. So sad that we did not have much time to see your beautiful swimming pool and we will definitely come back with family again and book long stay. I will recommend all friend and colleagues if they went to RAS Marjan resort is the best place to stay.

I was looking for nice beach hotel. Hotel in general is good, but management (service) should be much better especially in main restaurant - not enough staff to clean tables, always shortage for tea spoon and cups, cocoa (hot chocolate).
I'm surprised that hotel doesn't have pontoon bridge (like in Egypt) in open part of see! Current beach doesn't have good sand :-(
Hotel looks focus on children but animation is extremely poor (vs. Turkey).
Food was very good.

Nice Hotel - NOTE Alcohol free! Good to visit in the winter months as temperatures are reasonable. -Probably a bit too warm later in the year.

overall my stay was very good. The cleaning services is remarkable. The hospitality at breakfast with staff is very pleasing especially Marebel. If the kitchen can provide whats on the menu would be satisfying moreover the vegetarian dishes is limited to pastas on nights other than the Indian theme night.

I booked under the recommendation of a friend. But I got very disappointed at the beggining of my stay. So I referred to the duty manager who helped me solving the issues to make my stay better. But when I booked in a hotel this standard, i didn't expect to find a room like I did (fridge not plugged, dirty and smelly, and dirty clothes from the previous clients).
I guess it can be a nice hotel to stay in, but it needs more effort on the cleanliness of the rooms and the outdoor shared areas.
And avoid it on holidays when it's full because it's not peaceful at all (if this is what you're looking for )

On a positive note, The employees were helpful and the management managed to solve my issues and to provide me with a best option.

Swimming facility was very good except lack of towels sometimes.
