  Stayed there when we took part in the RAK marathon, the hotel is very well priced, however old and dated, service was very poor, my room door didn't lock, I reported three times and wasn't fixed, bathroom window didn't have any curtains, on top of all that they had some sort of party and the music was so loud untill 4am knowing that maybe half of the guests staying there for the marathon.
  
  When I contacted the front desk about the music they said sorry sir, will ask them to turn it down, that was absolute lie.
  
  I didn't try the food or drinks, I just wanted to get out of there, so we went somewhere else for dinner.
  
  I have never ever been in a hotel as bad as the Royal View Hotel.
  
  I highly recommend NOT to stay there, but again that's my opinion.

  Best hotel located in city with friendly staff.
  The most attracting thing is low price with good facilities.

  Hotel location is good..near to the market but area is peaceful. Lot of noise inside the hotel specifically in restaurant sometimes. Smoking is not aloud inside the restaurant but some peoples are doing it which creates a problem during dinner or lunch time. I would say this just a OK OK kind of hotel..

  This hotel is owned by Chinese (?), so this is the best place during Ramadan, because you get your European food and drinks regular and don't need wait for the sunset! The restaurant is popular also for local people. The rooms are ok but not very nice.

  'Just good' hotel.
  Accomodation is okay, but the rest rooms are pathetic.
  
  Complementary breakfast offered is below par.

  Really I like the city hotel and staff are friendly. Environment is so good. Room also very good. You feel like a home.
