The washbasin stinked! I guess it had no water seal. The maintenance guy came to check it and said it smells fine now when it obviously didn't. The power sockets were shoddy, damaged an extension cord when I was there. The only upside was the huge pool which was well maintained and clean. Rooms were sizeable, but that's pretty much the same wherever I've stayed at in Dubai

Location isn't that great..in the middle of a deserted area.. Restaurant is just average. Bathroom could be optimized.

It's safe and is good for both family and kids. However the floor needed more care of cleaning, there weren't as much electric sockets as there needs to be as there were none in the kids' bedroom and there wasn't one for the boiler, there was one smelly bathroom, and there was an issue with insects.

Another thing that we didn't like is the fact that there was no swimming pool for the ladies. This is a Muslim country and Muslim women can't comfortably swim with other men in there and everyone being able to watch.

Other than that the bedding and the towels were clean and the necessities were available. The receptionists were welcoming and kind. All staff were great with the service. The restaurant had served good food. The public swimming pool was the cherry on top with slides, waterfalls and a minibar which the kids had loads of fun at.

Worst hotel I've stayed in!!! Not highly recommended, there are hidden charges (towel and etc) Staff are unfriendly and unpolite. We didn't check out yet but the receptionist were calling to pay the bill. Uncleaned pool.

Worst Hotel.. staff are rude and tricky.. they are charging everything and they call us many times to pay the bill, we stayed for 2 nights and call us on first night to settle the bill(though we pay more than half already).. we dis not enjoyed our stay because they bodered us for so many reasons.. I don't recommend the resort totally unhappy with stay..

The receptionists are tricky. They tell you an lower amount for the room over the phone and when you arrive here they show you the worst of the room and charge a very high premium for an other one.

Good neat and clean villa with swimming pool with each villa! Have big hall attached 3 bedrooms The public swimming pool too inside the Hotel Royal Residence!
