My wife and I came here straight after our wedding and we dream of going back. The service was impeccable at all times. Between the two restaurants and cafe, the food was always between good and incredible, and reasonably priced.
The gardens are pretty special and the views, at all times, of Table mountain spectacular. I took more than a few walks outside through the gardens at various times just to take it all in - seeing it on the way to the (very good) gym was a particular highlight.

The one sour note is the travel desk which is run my a separate company. Their private tours were over priced and they promised us a partial refund for poor service before delaying it and not following through.

But we didn't let that over shadow what was a wonderful experience at a beautiful, special place.

Great service and beautiful setting. We went along for breakfast - definitely value for money. Go early before 8 and enjoy a long breakfast with friends and family.

My experience here was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere amazing. My main attraction at the hotel was their beautiful garden where you can just sit back and relax or walk around the garden under canopy walkways. The sound of the river makes it like you're in a forest. There's also places to sit around and just listen to the sound of nature. Lot's of places for kids to run around and have fun.

I had a beef burger from the cafe which was really juicy and amazing. The waitressingstaff is very friendly but you will wait for your food and the bill.

Overall, I would recommend it.

Very nice and green hotel. I had never seen this kind of hotel which have a huge garden ( very tidy and organized) All staff is perfect. Only a little bit far away from city centre but you are relaxing in your journey. There are many good restaurants around hotel. I suggest you to go sushi box if you like. They are great. Barrister is also very nice pub.

Brilliant hotel. They have their own tortoises and Bruce will give you a fantastic tour of the gardens. Whitney provides fantastic service at the bottom lounge and Simba and the girls in the Long Bar Coffee Lounge are first class. Recommended.

this is one of my favorite places for hust a coffee, breakfast, lunch or even a first date. the service is always excellent and the ambiance is so relaxed, inside or in the garden. parking is good and safe at any time

Had an amazing wine pairing evening there. Personally the food was not quite enough in this case. But the restaurant ambiance and service was top notch. Looking forward to being able to go back there again.

Lovely hotel to the east of Table Mountain with pretty gardens and nice rooms. Do ask for the Mountain view rooms, it is an absolute pleasure to gaze at the mountains and gardens as the weather changes, and listen to birds chirping. If you are lucky, you can see their giant resident tortoise ambling around too. The courtyard rooms are a bit dreary, you look out to other rooms so basically I would keep my curtains drawn all the time, try to ask for a Mountain view. There is a gym, small indoor pool and lovely mid sized outdoor pool with lovely views.

Beautiful gardens with helpful and friendly staff. A small river flows through the garden, and the flowerbeds and pathways are well maintained. The hotel definitely has one of the prettiest gardens in Cape Town!

The Vineyard Hotel is an historic institution in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. Spectacular gardens, excellent service and beautiful views of the mountain combined with easy access to all local amenities make this location a favorite for discerning visitors. The food available at Myoga (the restaurant attached to the hotel) is incredible, with a wine list to match. The Spa facilities will certainly leave you feeling incredibly relaxed and pampered. Overall a great Hotel experience.

Look, historic it is..
the lobby and communal areas are tasteful and service is decent. Great for the summer. However, I would avoid in winter at all costs. The insulation is atrocious..no double glazing windows/sliding doors. No underfloor heating at all.. and summer duvets..for winter..

This hotel has beautiful gardens that help to relax and inspire one. The casual dining restaurant is out on the patio over looking the gardens and the fountain. On a sunny day this is the place to be.

The food is great. I had a Caesar salad which was delicious. The desert was found wanting. I had a fridge cheese cake which was not well made.

Came for a lunch so cannot comment on accommodation.

Firstly, the view and surroundings. I would stay here just for those. The backdrop with the forested areas and mountains is spectacular. The restaurant where we had lunch was outdoors but undercover with bougainvillea blooming above and around.

I had a vegetable Thai green curry which was edible but not memorable. Not particularly tasty nor spicy but my dining companions lamb looked great. Come here for the view and ambience and afterwards take a walk through the gardens and the "Riverwalk".

Don't miss out on the residential tortoise.

A wonderful place for afternoon tea. The coffee shop has a spectacular view of the gardens and mountain and the atmosphere is relaxed, yet the staff attentive. I really enjoyed the cheese board and find the portions here quite generous.

This is a wonderful environment on offer for both business and pleasure. Wild life can be seen on the property and it's proximity to shopping and various places if fun makes it ideal. The stuff is excellent, service outstanding and food is well presented and delicious too. Visit to experience all this.
