Perfect location if you party on long street and come back intoxicated then perhaps you would sleep. Perhaps windows and walls need an upgrade for noise reduction from dodgy over rated Long Street as it seems paper thin.

Nice place. Nice breakfast. Hotel guests get a free slice of cake everyday. Just keep in mind that long street is very noisy at night so ask reception for some ear plugs

One cannot even begin to say how bad the experience of this hotel is - it’s sits in the middle of complete and absolute chaos, every night of the week. You will simply not sleep for the entire duration of your stay, something that seems to amuse most of the staff. Seriously, there are far better options. In fact, any other option is better.

Stayed at the hotel during a trade show, on a Tuesday night. Room was pretty decent and the service from reception was good. Given the location, I phoned ahead of time to enquire about the possible noise issue and was assured that, because it was a weekday, the noise won’t be an issue. Not so. Music from clubs and bars opposite the hotel pumped until 4am with the usual accompaniments of shouting, swearing, bottle breaking and car hooting. Got zero sleep. Good hotel for vampires.

It locates in a convenience place where you can enjoy night club light easily if you want. However, it will be noisy in the midnight until 3-4am, especially in the weekend. Ask for the ear plug and it would be helpful for your sleep. The service in the hotel's bar and breakfast restaurant is great. There are different choices of breakfast that would be made after you order. You don't need to feel afraid if you just want to have a drink in this area in late evening. The bar of the hotel provides enough choice and draft beer.

Very central easy access to all amenities right in the heart of party town, checked in on January 19 2017 very impressed with the sizes of the bedrooms, Only problem was the complimentary breakfast that they serve when i ordered an english breakfast the bread had mould on it and the sausages tasted off, i would highly recommend eating out and having no breakfast at the hotel.

Decent stay! It is on the Party Street(Long street) of Cape Town, so be prepared for noisy nights (till about 5am). The hotel offers earplugs. I like the blackout curtains. Rooms could do with a small microwave to reheat leftovers from all the excellent restaurants around. Free double-breakfast and two coffees is nice value but I can't eat that much. The WiFi is good!

Very noisy. Vegetarian breakfast option is not vegeterian as meat and eggs are fried in the same oil. Parking is a big problem - besides the limited bays available, I had to wait for 5-10 minutes for someone to open the garage whilst a fight was happening a few meters away. So security is obviously a problem too. The room is spacious and the decor is simple and uncluttered which is lovely. But its the middle of winter and the bed has a thin duvet and a tiny thin throw blanket. Not sure how they got a 4 star rating. Booked for 4 nights. Left after night 1. Unfortunately the 100% cancellation fee is another disappointment.

Beautiful comfortable simple hotel right in the center of the busiest street of Cape Town. Depending on the type of traveler you are this could be a great or terrible! I had ear plugs so I was okay!

Awesome views onto long street. You can hear and feel the liveliness of long street from your room. The twin room is much better and spacious than the double room. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The in-house bar is boss and prices are fair

It has a youthful vibe. The decor is not depressing like most places.
The features are amazing. You wake up to the view of table mountain. The staff is friendly. The hotel is near restaurants and bars if that's your thing.

Rooms spacious. Decor simple.
Centrally located, with the cost of some street noise.
Breakfast service avoids the buffet option so common these days. If traveling on business, allow that your order will be prepared and brought to your table - which may take a little longer. Relatively small menu of breakfast options.
Bar and comfortable if small lounge downstairs. Lobby can be very crowded if a large group is checking in.response / report this review
