The views from this place is just gorgeous. A few different restaurants, wine tasting, and South African shops with local suppliers. Just to beautiful
Really beautiful but also very expensive. They mostly cater for tourists so if your local expect fancy prices with a fancy place. Their cured meats tasting was a bit underwhelming but the views are amazing and the history of the place is really interesting.
Great experience !!! You get to taste a selection of wine, gin (some strong stuff) and craft beer. Taste on selection of cured meats and local chocolate (you can eat as much chocolate as you want). There is also gifts to purchase and a good outdoor restaurant to finish the day off.
We really enjoyed our time here at the spice route. I was with my friends from Germany who just loved it too. We had wonderful lunch, followed by local made Ice cream and chocolate. The stunning scenery and ambiance will make you want to always come back.
Great collection of things to do including chocolate and beer tasting, ice cream, glass blowing and a great restaurant. Lovely place to take the whole family and make a day of it. Can get quite busy on a nice day so come prepared!
A stunning place to spend a leisurely hour or two. Delicious beer and chocolate tasting. An absolute must if you are in Paarl or the surrounds .
Ooh this place is amazing.
There's a lot to explore, things like wine testing, chocolate testing, Gin testing, lemonade. I can go on forever. I enjoyed my visit.💓💓💓
There is something for everyone here. Great restaurants, wine tasting, beer tasting, chocolate tasting, ice cream and gin. It’s a great location but can get very busy - if you are going for lunch book a table!
It's a beautiful spot, but the service wasn't great. Our wine tasting was rushed. We had dirty glasses which was a mission to change
This place is huge and family friendly. Not really a wine tasting location in my opinion unless you are in a big group. Pizza was good, fast service and the CBC larger was very very tasty!
Food and service was absolutely excellent. Views stunning. Brewery, chocolate to die for
So much things to do. From beer tasting. Devilliers amazing choclates, Pizzas. Perfect place for a Saturday afternoon
Fantastic place. We spend the whole day here moving between the different portions of the estate. From chocolate to wine, biltong to beer. Always a hit and lots of space for the kids
Lots of variety. Beer tasting, chocolate tasting, wine pairing, biltong tasting. There are lots of restaurants to choose from for breakfast and lunch and an amazing cured meats deli. All that, together with sweeping views that are out of this world! defiantly a great place to spend an hour or a whole day
Lots of fun things to do at Spice Route. Chocolate tasting, beer tasting, wine tasting. You might get to watch some glass blowing if you are lucky. Good restaurants too.
Lovely spot! Something for everyone here. Chocolate, ice-cream, wine, pizzas, beer and burgers, art and interior goodies. Incredible view too. Lots of space for kids to run around and play. Prepare to spend a decent amount of time here to make the most of it. The only downside is that it is very crowded, but if you can go in the week you're sorted.
Such an amazing place. The spice route is unique as it's has so many different elements that can take you a day to get through. (Chocolate tasting, beer tasting, ice cream, cured meets, very relaxing restaurants, shops and more And this is all on the side of a mountain with an amazing view. 👍
A must visit spot in Paarl. The chocolate tasting is a fun and very inexpensive experience. We loved the build your own picnic complete with baskets, blankets and beautiful view. And the ice cream is some of the best ever. Great kids play area. It can function as a date experience or family friendly too!
What a fantastic place . The waiters knowledge is our of this world. The beer section tour was very impressive and the beer guide fantastic. Beers very nice indeed. The wine tour was one of the best I had . Samantha I think her name was, knew her wine so well. I picked up that one wine was slightly corked even though my guests thought it was OK. She took it away and came back with a new bottle. Saying yes I was right. What a fun an amazing time. Worth more ********
