I learnt to love pizza in this restaurant in the mid 90's when pizza meant a loaf of bread with cheese on it from Pizza hut. Col'Cacchio introduced proper pizza to Cape Town. Great ambience, lovely staff, world class pizza. I love this restaurant. A good variety of vegetarian and now even vegan pizzas, which are surprisingly good.

I had a moderately decent experience regarding the food here. The pizza was not bad and my girlfriends pasta was fairly good. However, the food took a long 45 minutes to arrive and the manager walked past about 6 times giving us a guilty look instead of asking us how we were doing. By the time the food had arrived, our drinks were obviously finished and we were given a nasty glare when simply ordering tap water.

The food, as said before, left me satisfied and gives this restaurant some form of backing. I did however have a major problem with the prices as I can get better food at other restaurants for a lot cheaper and with better service. It seems to me that this Col'Cacchio branch decided to rethink their design to suit the "fancy" style of the VnA by also raising their prices and leaving the customer waiting.

I can however say that the view is stunning and the fresh air cycling through the restaurant leaves me feeling very content. But please note that service is not their forte!

LOVE the thinny-crust pizza! All the menu items are yummy haven't tried all but saw happy people eating around me and empty plates after. Must try the meringue dessert--fantastic! Good, friendly service and very reasonable prices. It's casual and comfortable, with sports channels on the big TV screens.

Good food, but parking in Hans Strydom Avenue is pretty pricey.

I loved their gourmet pizzas. Just a nice, modern pizzeria with many options. Great glasses of wine.

Our favourite restaurant in Cape Town in our short stay. Just beats the Round House on atmosphere (but not views). Food and service both top notch, tho the Round House has a better craft beer selection.

Worst customer service. Tried ordering online, won't work. Tried phoning, rude. Takes well over an hour for them to deliver. Slow service.

Amazing pizza from a chain as well. The pizza 2 halves menu is excellent and the prices are very low if you're visiting Cape Town. Cheap decent sangria as well. Great place and we went twice it was that good.

The half-and-half pizza is always nice. The indoor fire (the oven) keeps the restaurant warm.

The pizzas here are out of this world! The menu also offers authentic Italian style dishes, I had the bolognese which was absolutely delicious. In total, for a jug of Sangria, a large pizza and a huge portion of pasta the bill came to roughly £25 including tip. The staff are super friendly, we were seated immediately and our food came out within about 15 minutes after ordering. I highly recommend this place if you love pizza and Italian food!

    The pizzas are simply divine.

Lovely interior designing just makes the place a whole lot cozier, and romantic (provided one is in very good company)

I just wished I had more tummy space to down a couple more pizzas. 😊 Boy, they were delicious.
