First time at this restaurant and wasn't in a great mood. However, the manager (I assume) was very welcoming and constantly checked in on us. The waitress that served us had great people skills and very professional. Great view of the beach. Food was not glamorous but I guess it ties in with the chilled nature of the place. Overall I left in a better mood than I came in!

Right on the beach with spectacular views, including whales the day we were there. Good service and reasonably prices. Fresh oysters were good, as was the shared platter of hake and calamari and prawns. Fun spot to people watch. Can take your dog as well

This restaurant had to be the quickest service, quickest delivery of food and yet easy on the wallet. We watched the sunset while enjoying our fish platter. It is nice that there are cozy benches outside to look at the waves at moonlight while digesting your food. We had coffee. Oh so nice.
They are dog friendly as well so bring your dog with.

Best Fish n Chips in SA! Quick service, great view right on top of the beach Very popular spot for many reasons. Quick table turner so don't worry if you see a cue, the fish is worth the wait! The smell of the ocean, one of my favourite spots to go. (Have kids play area too)

What a stunning place, perfect West Coast ambience, chilled, no hurry to be pushed off your table, staff were hospitable and kind. Manager Mike also excellent and saw to our every need. May I add, the calamari YESBest I’ve had in CT! I always thought Chappies has this claim, not anymore, bigger, tastier portion & cheaper. Recommend to anyone and will definately return soon 👌🏼

About the food I will not comment! It speaks for itself! Really a wonderful experience! Service excellent! The VIEW! I do not have enough words to describe the view! All I will risk to say is AWESOME! It leaves you speachless!

Visited for Breakfast while out there on holiday. Awesome food, great service with a view to match. Kid friendly as well as they have lovely play area to keep the little ones entertained whilst waiting for food.

Food is not bad but not fantastic. Views are great and it is dog friendly. Has playground for children. Packed on sunny days! Very family friendly.

Great family restaurant right on the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our dog Max is treated like a long standing customer as well. My partner and I both lead a plant based lifestyle, and although there are no vegan items on the menu they will happily "veganise" to meet our needs.
Their newly renovated pub area upstairs, is set up for the perfect way to watch the latest rugby game for sports lovers.
The interior of the centuries old house is cosy, and transports one to an era of West Coast charm of yester year.
Sitting outside and sipping wine as the sun goes down behind the sea is one of the nicest ways to spend a summer evening in Cape Town.

The food was good, but took a while to arrive. The service however was slow, especially when wanting to pay. Great setting right on the beach, just requires more efficient staff.

View is fabulous. Good location next to the beachfront. Has a nice outdoor section with children's play area. Service can be a bit slow bit it is a very popular destination in summer.

It is walking distance from the sea. It has a ocean view serves the best seafood as well as other food. Has a variety of drinks and food. Very local. The assistance is very good. Waiters and management is very helpful.
