  This must be one of the best places in the western cape.
  We stayed at the villa positioned on the river overlooking beautiful Elgin.
  The management team were excellent and extremely helpful.
  The only negative was the pool wasn't working and the showers were luke warm. i'm sure these will be looked at soon, be sure to call and check.

  Family of 17 gathered for a short break from work and studies. Lovely farm breakfasts were had by all during our stay. Not much activities for the kids except for a foaming slippery slide. There is a play house for the girls, nothing much for the boys to do. Older ones enjoyed going out on the water and quad biking. Disappointed that we could not have a family braai. Beautiful tranquil setting more suitable for couples and company team building events.

  Wonderful relaxed piece of heaven! Laid back resort that has all the right amenities. Great staff, comfortable beds, simple yet good food, reasonably priced drinks, great fun for kids. Our dads and daughters weekend was a huge hit all round! Highly recommend.

  An absolutely fantastic place. New ownership has done wonders. Now a very relaxed family setup with incredible views. The rooms are comfortable with easy access to the water and worth a daily trip out. You are also able to use all the sports equipment so a day on the river is as easy as you'd like it to be. If you are nice to the owners they might even take you for a Slalom.

  Beautiful place and beautiful setting! wood cabins and a function venue, all overlooking the stunning river! A bit on the expensive side, but the view is amazing. Does get very cold in winter though. They do have a great kids area (that is newly renovated if I understand correctly)

  I attended a writing workshop for five days at the Mofam River lodge and its tranquil setting coupled with convenience for productivity was perfect to get the creative writing juices flowing! The staff are friendly and so willing to assist which allows one to focus on the reason why you got away from it all. The only drawback of this establishment is that the cabins does not have air-conditioning for those hot summer days in the countryside.

  Beautiful setting, great vibe. A bit of a drive on gravel to get there, but well worth it. We didn't overnight, but we definitely are considering at a good getaway with friends and family.

  The new owners are simply the best!! I have not experienced the place before but now it is awesome the staff are available and ready for anythingthey set up a proposal for me and it even blew me away I would rate this place 6/5 stars if i could really great venue beautiful scenery a hidden gem in the western cape

  Great place for a relaxing time with family and friends! Boats, canoes, games, fishing, quad bikesetc. kids will be buzy all day! Not to mention the local pub area for the grown-upsjust so much fun!

  A really beautiful place.
  Lots to doFishing, Boating, Skiing, Quad Biking.
  
  I went during June but I can imaging how great it must be during the summer.
