Really great vibe here. The staff are friendly and efficient, and you can see the place is well run with a good manager. The food is good, and drinks are special.

    Service was bad!
Waiters have no personality, don't intro themselves, and don't offer assistance. The places vibe is lovely and look and feel dramatic and amazingwe left after starters 😑

Wow!!! What happened?!? From South Africa and have always come here with international friends to give them a truly different African city experience, not sure what’s happened or changed management wise but this will not be on my list of “things to do” next time. The food didn’t even co e close to the last few years I have visited.. real shame! Wonderful group wonderful vibe. what happened?!?!?

This restaurant used to be a firm favourite until I recently visited with friends. The food was not the best quality and when we brought it to the managers attention he was abrasive, defensive and dismissive. Regular tap water was charged for, drinks were watered down and had to pay extra for side items which used to be included with the main meals. The food experience was not worth the money charged. If you're looking for a great restaurant go somewhere else.

Burlesque style restaurant with its roots linked to the famous traveling Madame Zingara theater of dreams. Great destination restaurant with a good menu variety. The restaurant is small and quaint which means tables are packed close together.

One of the best Eggs Benedict in Cape Town. Brunch all day, chilled vibe, and they go the extra mile service wise. Recommended.

Had an exquisite experience at the Bombay Bicycle club! Their chili chocolate steak is to die for! The ambiance, the live entertainment, everyone joining in with the drum beat coupled with an amazing meal and excellent service left me speechless. The waitress knew the menu and specials off by heart, even though she was the only one on duty that evening in a packed venue, our food arrived surprisingly quickly. This place is always packed so a reservation is advised, but its well worth it!

    Great service, decent food.

Decor was a little too busy for my liking, though. My kind kept rearranging the place it has this Shabby chic, hippie feel. Other People seemed to like it quite a bit - so I think it's just me.

It's like a hodgepodge of knick knacks from everywhere stacked up everywhere.
One of the sitting table even has swing seats.

This place is definitely a gem in Cape Town, one of our "must-sees." The atmosphere is so unique and fun! Don't forget to ask for glitter (: We tried the chocolate chili steak and it was significantly better than other restaurants versions! The other food was delicious as well. The only downfall is the service. Our table of 6 ended up spending 4 hours in this place. But overall a great place!

This place is a gem amongst the numerous great restaurants in Cape Town. The food is delicious, the cocktails fantastic and our waitress was more than friendly. With its somewhat overboarding decoration this restaurant offers a unique experience. I'd love to go back!

The food was, at best, average. No air conditioning so the restaurant was extremely stuffy. Worst of all, the waitress was aggressive and intrusive. She was most definitely efficient but had little awareness that customers do not want to a bossy, over bearing person serving them. Far less attitude and some respect would have been appreciated. An utterly unpleasant experience.

This place is always hoppin' and is fun to check out. Definitely a good place to come for drinks and food. It further up the road from the heart of town, but as a result that makes it a really nice place to come hang out.
