Glen burn lodge is absolutely fantastic. It has many options for food and drink. There is also a pool to swim, lovely river to walk along and amazing scenery. I had my wedding there and it was a fabulous day.

Great place to stay and have a conference. Only issue i had was with one of the waiters. He had trouble understanding me when i ordered. Otherwise very nice place. I recommend staying in the garden suites.

At the venue for a conference which they seem to specialise in. Taking into account the amount of people they need to cater for, they are doing an amazing job.
The facilities are well cared for and the staff are friendly and professional.
The location is great being close to Lanseria Airport and major centres. However it has a distinct country feel which makes it feel like a break from the city.

Attended a wedding ceremony at the Glenburn clove venue. It was a wonderful experience. The chapel is outdoors. The nature and surrounding was beautiful. They catered for children. The buffet had a wide variety and was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and assisting. Overall the venue is a great place for family gatherings.

It was a friends wedding and we decided to spend the night. From the time we checked in the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were sparking clean with beautiful furniture. The gardens were meticulously kept and beautiful. We often frequent some of the best hotels in SA and we were pleasantly surprised to find that Glenburn sits up there with some of the best. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.
We are considering returning however are not so happy with the rates for 2 people sharing in a chalet. The cost is for people due to it being a four sleeper. Sadly chalets do not accommodate only two guests.

I had one of the most awesome experiences at Glenburn Lodge! Although they mixed up the dates of my engagement celebration dinner and almost totally outed my intentions of getting engaged we managed to get a work around! Thank you to Alan and the staff for their professionalism, friendliness and caring services and for creating a second memorable dinner the following day It's a weekend we'll never forget!! O And she said yes!! 😀

Very beautiful place and there was a really nice water fall that is stunning for taking pictures with as a background. The service I experienced was brilliant and I would definitely go again.

This was a disaster from the time we checked in to the lodge. The hotel standard rooms are extremely old and in dire need of renovations. The bath is scratched and appears dirty, the shower head sprays so big that you cannot actually get wet and the toilet is damaged. The towels are tiny and distinctly past their use by date.
The bed mattress is old, worn through and uncomfortable. The linen is old, does not fit the mattress and has holes in it everywhere.
There are absolutely no amenities in the room such as a basic hairdryer (although in their defense this is not advertised).
Housekeeping screams down the corridors at each other at 8am on a sunday morning and comes knocking on my door at 9am when I check out at 10 - surely there is a system where they know the checkout rooms must wait until 10 to clean, this is how most hotels work.
I am so disappointed in this experience and will not be returning, if it had not been for the fact that the wedding ended so late we would not have slept over at all the second evening. I would also never recommend people to this lodge. Besides it being in a convenient area for weddings it has nothing else going for it.

We had a fantastic weekend at Glenburn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic..better than most 3 star establishments. Facilities are a bit dated but are well maintained. The hotel grounds are very pleasant.

Wow what an amazing experience for my mom. She turned 80 and celebrated at Glenburn Lodge she cannot keep quite about how she enjoyed it the food, treatment, staff and service was out of this world and i have never been myself a friend referred me she also had a luncheon there for her birthday. I am forever grateful to everybody for making my mom's day and stay so special. Mapaseka and Ingrid you both went above and beyond for them and the Manager that was working 9th in the evening (don't know his name) he helped my cousin with a minor issue thank you. Thank you so much and god bless everybody that was involved. You deserve all the stars and more.

Beautiful. Excellent service. The place for a perfect retreat and get-away. Perfect location as it's not too far away from Johannesburg. Breakfast is copious with an amazing view.

As always the most enjoyable spa experience at the Spa at Glenburn. Professional, restful and peaceful. The food is always good and the spa and the restrooms well equipped for your comfort! A must visit!
