The service was very bad. First the toilet in the room was dirty. All the rooms do not cater for people with sinus, the carpet smell bad. The waiter by the name of Vice was rude like Very Rude. Food was bad. I didn't like the hotel at all. I would never recommend the hotel to anyone.

Attended a two-day conference here. Hospitality, food and views were great. Those were the wow-factors. Facilities are kept neat and clean, and straight-forward enough. Also noticed efforts to make room for people with accessibility needs.

Was in the area and popped into the pub for a quick lunch and ordered their Calamari special. What arrived was disgusting and even they're staff agreed once it was pointed out. We won't be back. Pity as they could have secured a loyal customer Really disappointing considering this Hotel is a landmark in our town.

Great hotel Brings back memories.
I lived here for a week and I loved the place. The rooms have quality beddings with basic accessories for the bathroom.

The food is delicious and well prepared. The staff have a great attitude and show concern.
There conference facility is also spacious and well maintained, esp the ballrooms.

Wonderful experience, well kept gardens and wealth of history. Elegant and classy. Sunday lunch Buffet was delicious, includes salads and desserts. A must for any one exploring the city 😁 excellent service and very attentive. Enjoyed the meal and experience

Convenient for conferences but not a great hotel. Everything looks a little threadbare. Buffet was okay. There are better 3 star venues so I only gave it 2*s. It's not aweful though.

Heritage site hotel also a Grand Old Lady. The original house was built in 1895. Lots of character free parking and big beautiful gardens. Various types of bedrooms the bulk in the monument side of the building and then 45 in a new wing built in 2010.

Nice, clean hotel. Interesting history. Excellent service - they even brought me room service at 2 AM with a smile. Hotel wasn't very busy so they upgraded us to a deluxe room free of charge. Would definitely stay again.

It's a good hotel if you are allocated a Northern facing room on upper floors with the balcony. The carpets must go too. They sometimes cause post nasal drip and sinusitis.

Good Hotel indeed..but was not impressed by their internet service..They say its unlimited but when you arrive they give you a capThe rooms are fantastic but one of the staff, a lady was very rude..But overally its a good place to stay

Beautiful Hotel. Originally the home of Lord Milner built in the late 1800's . This Grand Old Dame is beautiful. A treasure not to be missed.
