I am very disappointed in dealing via Esquire with Lenovo for a laptop that failed under warranty. I sent it in to Esquire for repair when it first failed, received it back "fixed" only to find that it was still faulty. I took it back after spending a lot of time (including buying diagnostic software) confirming the faults so as to give an accurate report. It was thereafter in their care for a long time. I am still waiting and expect to get it back 3 weeks after the worst estimated return date. In this time there was no feedback other than "it is at Lenovo, still busy, maybe next week" and every time after I had to push for information. I now understand it is fixed, but in Johannesburg and will be sent back to them, which will take a week. All in all I will have spent R400+R350 (petrol and diagnostic s/w) and I did not have use of the machine for 7 weeks. And now the warranty period is over.
