We went to the bar for night cap, expecting to have a quiet drink. As it turns out, on Saturday nights it's more of a "club" than a bar. Nice music, just not what we wanted at the time.

Looks to be an average hotel. They don't really clean the rooms a lot. The first week I was there I'm usually out all day and maybe only twice they cleaned the floor, and I mean like just sweep the dust. You really got to wear slippers or else you get dirt stuck to your feet

Then when my wife and daughter visited we had days where the room didn't get cleaned at all. The staff assured it would and didn't. When asked about it they were just apologetic with not actions behind it. It's like they either didn't really care or just lie to your face. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless someone just wanted to stay 1 night and not really care about decent cleanliness

Our first day exploring NYC and room service left our door propped open the entire day while we were out exploring the city. When this issue was brought to the manager by my partner, who was upset about the situation, the manager proceeded to tell him how he should act and feel about this. That didn't go over well and is not the way you should treat guests at your hotel.

Obviously we are upset about this, all of our stuff is left out in the open for anyone to take, and the manager was not going to take any responsibility for this incident and had no ability to sympathize with what happened. So we are left with no trust in the manager or the room service staff.

The next four days we didn't allow room service into our room, no turning down the sheets, no fresh towels, no cleaning the floors. It was awkward walking by the front desk, awkward walking by everyone that works there. The entire stay was very uncomfortable.

Room and beds were smaller than I like when traveling with my family, but adequate. Good customer service. They checked our bags after we checked out allowing us to explore without being burdened with baggage.

A fantastic hotel for our anniversary trip! Very centrally located, clean and quiet room and friendly staff. The elevators were very slowly, but that didn't take away from our stay. The room was smaller than we were expecting but space is hard to come by in New York and we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Manhattan. Also check out Tacombi right across the street for great authentic Mexican food.

I can only vouch for the bar as I was only meeting someone who was staying there. But the bar was very trendy with nice styling. The bar tender was very friendly and kind, and mixed a mean drink! I enjoyed my experience.

This hotel was very disappointing. We returned to our room after seeing a late show. The room was warm and the air conditioning control unit could not be adjusted. The hotel employee said that we would probably need to move to another room. Because it was almost midnight.. we decided not to move all of our things and hope it got cooler.

This did not happen and in fact the room was so noisy that we thought there had been a hailstorm outside. In the morning we realized it had been the air conditioner as it never rained.
After the water from the shower leaked all over the floor, we met a hotel employee in the hall. We related our concerns about the room to her. She was very sympathetic and said we should tell the front desk and they would probably compensate us in some way. We did tell the front desk, but they could only offer us an " I"m sorry".
The room is very small and dark with no place to put your luggage. You must put it on the floor against the wall and hope you don't trip on it.
Our friends were on the 5th floor. This photo is of the garment that stayed in the hallway near them.
Staff came to clean the rooms with their cart parked close by but no one chose to remove it. It was still there when we left.
I chose this hotel because it was in the Wyndham chain. It does not begin to meet the comfort of other Wyndham hotels.

I want to rate it 3.5 stars, but i rounded up for the staff. Its perfectly located in the Flatiron district. The rooms are New York small, but the bed is amazing. It took a full day to get my wifi working, and the bathroom door didnt seal and i flooded the bathroom. The amenities are nice, could be a bit better for the price. Also, they told me there is free bagel breakfast when i checked in, but when i went down in the morning they said they stopped doing it. Why tell me anything??? The staff was amazingly sweet, always greeted me and helped me with where to go and any issues.

I read the reviews before checking in. It's true, there isn't a service elevator. And this is Manhattan - the rooms aren't huge with sitting areas and full size desks. But my room was very clean with an attractive design and lighting options. The bathroom and shower were more spacious than my previous Manhattan hotels. The staff were all very polite and professional . I forgot my toothbrush and had one delivweeks in a few minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
The lobby/cafe design is not my favorite. It feels like two people couldn't agree and just put up a wall between them. But the outdoor space has potential - though the street is a bit industrial to wanna spend too much time out there.
Managers could make a bit of an effort to schedule things so the less desirable elevator loads happen at slow hours versus middle of the day.
I would definitely stay here again.

For New York, a solid three stars. Super friendly reception staff, but rooms were dusty. Modern decor nice in some places and a little cheaply done in others. Rooms on the "tight" side of things. I would stay here again, but wouldn't necessarily actively seek it out. All in all a good experience. Attached cafe and restaurant was convenient.

Since the first time I reached to Hotel Henri it was a 5-star contact. Christopher Gerdes who is responsible for the front desk was kind and could accommodate my needs. He is fantastic.
The rooms are spacious and cozy. The bathrooms are bright.
    The location is amazing!

I really wanted to give this hotel a great rating. The rooms are very small and could use a tish of extra cleaning. If you think you're going to work while you're staying here, think again. The internet access is not passable at all. Extremely frustrating. They posted free breakfast on the website but asked us to print that page and bring it down to show them when we called to confirm. Good front desk service but I wouldn't return.

Upon arrival only one elevator was working so it took extra long to go up and down. There was also no service elevator so the employees would often occupy the 2 elevators. Other than that, the location is nice with good eats and close to the F train. The rooms were clean with everything you may need.

Fantastic hotel. Great location. Very nice rooms. The only thing I'd change is the lighting. I understand they're going for a certain ambiance but it's a pain in the butt to get ready in the morning.
