Great hotel, with friendly staff, nice rooms, a good shower and comfy bed!! Perfect location, we'd stay here again.
Nice hotel situated a few minutes from empire state and macys. rooms well equiped and spacious.complimentary breakfast ,but use tray supplied to collect and eat in room as limited space in small dining area
Room with a great view. No refrigerator and the tub doesn’t work. Concierge very nice and helpful. Second time here and will come again. Location to everything is awesome and the rooms are cute.
Stayed here in June of 2016 for my honeymoon and never left a rating, but my husband and I were talking about how nice this place was! The staff was so friendly, breakfast was included and nice, clean with a stellar view and close to everything! We had such a nice time here, if we're ever back in NYC we will be booking here!!
Stayed here in October 2013 heading back in October 2017 loved the views from the rooms and easy to get around to all the major sites. The staff was really great and very helpfully.Cant wait to be in New York for the third time.
Awesome hotel! The concierge and front desk attendants were super kind and extremely helpful. Rooms and overall appearance of the hotel is superb. Not to mention, it’s just a few blocks away from Times Square and you have an amazing view of the Empire State Building! Definitely going to stay here again during my next NYC trip!
A bit basic and rooms on the small size, but this is normal for NY. Nice and clean. Breakfast a bit of a tight squeeze and very basic. Good location
Great comfortable room's with good soft beds. Hotel has good location with great restaurant's in walking distance. Great Concierge and hotel staff. Very friendly front desk.
Would highly recommend and will be returning.
Great location and large sized rooms for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for?
Stayed for 5 nights and we're very pleased with the experience. I see others complaining about lack of amenities but why would you need all that? You're in the middle of NY! Everything is just a few blocks away.
Very good place to stay while in NY and on a budget. The rooms where quite spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful. It was always a bit crowded in the kitchen for breakfast in the morning since its very small. The location is excellent.
Great service. People went out of the way to make sure I was happy and doing well with my stay in the city. All five stars deserved.
The room was fresh and larger than expected, and even on a lower floor had a view of the (top of the) Empire State Building. I found the price reasonable for this well-located hotel, near Penn Station but in a clean and lively part of town. With traffic on Broadway restricted, I even found it quiet.
Agree with the comments that the breakfast has more than usual "continental" choices, but that the breakfast room is crowded and ill-designed. Likewise, the hotel entrance is narrow and the reception in a stuffy windowless cubby-hole that offers very limited space. I agree that offering a tea kettle and some coffee and tea options in the rooms would be welcome, and even though the work-arounds are mostly successful, the basic fact is that the hotel lacks a restaurant, a fitness center, a lobby. lounge or business center. For one or two nights, for most travelers, this is fine. Practical but not full-service or a place to relax or invite guests.
The best location possible. Empire state views which as a great surprise to wake up too. The staff were friendly and knew where all the major attractions were and how to get to them. I can't fault the room at all. It was clean and very spacious for New York.
Location was great. Spacious and comfortable for the location. We had a couple of unpleasant experiences with the room but management was quick to respond sympathetically and appropriately. Overall could have been a more pleasant experience, but staff response was so good I can't bring myself to complain.
