This hotel was incredible. It is so cute, clean & the staff was extraordinary. From the cozy reading room with the fireplace to the modern upgraded rooms we loved it. Also the Covina Restaurant located in the Hotel was phenomenal. This is our new go to Hotel when we are in New York City.
Gorgeous hotel. Good location that allowed us to easily walk to Midtown. The rooms were very nice and luxurious. Small, by hey, that's Manhattan for you. The staff was exceedingly helpful and pleasant to deal with. Two on-site restaurants make dining convenient. The food was excellent. But back to the room. Quiet, no distractions from traffic or other guests. I loved that they stock their rooms with Beekman bath products. The beds are SO comfortable and I loved the electronic pad on the wall that you can hit if you didn't want to be disturbed by the maid service. Excellent bagel shop next door and around the corner is the sweet Swedish bakery Fika. I would stay here again with no hesitation.
Beautiful room-on the small side globally but very comfortable for a midtown boutique. Great products in the bathroom, amazing hotel staff. Love the bar and stupendous bar tenders. Can’t wait to come back when the rooftop bar is open. Really good location close to subway, good variety of restaurants and easy 15 minute walk to GCT.
On the upside: Easy check-in, lovely staff, the room was small, but contemporary, and clean. The location is terrific, and the bagel shop a few doors down is highly recommended for a morning bite! On the flip side: the sheets/bedding were rough/stiff to the touch, and the room isn't very soundproof. We could hear our neighbours in the hall and playing music in their rooms late into the night. Overall, Park South is great value for money and I'd highly recommend. Two thumbs up!
My best friend, her mother & I stayed here over the long weekend. Beautifully decorated & well maintained hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful with check in, recommendations while we were in town, etc. Chuck the door man/bell hop was very professional and friendly. The Roof at Park South is also a must see when staying there -- great vibe & great drinks! Definitely cannot wait to visit again!
I loved this hotel! It was quaint, yet had new amenities in the room to accommodate technology. The staff were very nice and helpful!
we stayed here this past weekend and were very pleased, especially by how nice & helpful everyone was: from the front desk to the doorman to the valet to the server at the cafe. the people really made it great for us and our room was well appointed. we would definitely come here again.
Proximity to work location was main reason for the stay. Originally scheduled for 4 nights with queen bed but changed to only 1. Was surprised to find two double beds waiting for me. Room was underwhelming and overlooked an open, loud kitchen or bar area. Rate also increased dramatically once stay was shortened. (About $90) I'm not a complainer so I didn't say anything to the front desk. Still, I don't feel like I'd be missing anything if choosing a different hotel.
Super nice hotel. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant serves tasty dishes and in the roof terras we could enjoy nice locally brewed beers while having a nice view of the city
The room was great. A little small but very clean and quiet throughout. Good bar/restaurant on the roof. Nice breakfast place on the first floor. Pretty easy to locate and access
Great view with a pretty casual atmosphere. Service could be better.
Nice hotel, good value, excellent bar and restaurant with great staff. Only caveat is the terrible loud heating / AC system, so STAY AWAY if you have a hard time sleeping in a noisy environment!
The staff at check in was great! Friendly, helpful, and prompt. I requested a room with a fridge (traveling with children) when I booked online through a third party site, and one was promptly brought up to the room at arrival without me reminding them! The renovation in 2016 was well done. It's a beautiful hotel! The small exercise room was nice. For an NYC hotel room with two double beds, it was incredibly spacious. On the 7th floor we heard no noise with a courtyard window. Covina restaurant has awesome salads and pizza and friendly staff. Great location for the metro and other restaurants. Bagel shop next door was super friendly and delicious.
My favorite place to stay in Manhattan for business or pleasure. The restaurant is wonderful. Get one of the executive King rooms if you can. A rare treat to have a hotel room in Manhattan where you can stretch out.
Having only been here for around 24hours of a week long trip we haven't been able to really assess the place properly. That being said as far as we can tell it's a great place considering things such as location, value, cleanliness and facilities. Food and drinks available at the two restaurants and café in the hotel and the various food shops nearby. The hotel is right by Park Avenue with access to the Metro system (a weekly unlimited pass is only $32..great value). House keeping seems good and the rooms themselves are clean and well maintained. Only a short way into our trip but all signs are good!!
