Exactly what you might expect from a great deli. Turkey pecan salad sandwich on pumpernickel is excellent and try the unusual veggie pasta salad. Mango tea is also delicious.

There are not enough words to describe the awesomeness of this place. There is a reason why it's been around so many years! The food is fabulous and they have it down to a pretty smooth system where waiting is not so bad. But you will wait. There is always wait, it's that good. Trust me, it's worth the wait! I don't care what kind of a diet you're going to make sure you have a piece of their cake. It will change your life.

A staple in the Tampa area. I have traveled all over and love finding the best delis. Wright's deli gourmet house is definitely one if if not my favorite. The chocolate and alpine cakes are a family tradition. The breakfast and all their sandwiches are big enough to share. Just ask for them to be split. Bakery items may seem a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Quality ingredients and friendly service. Love Wright's deli.

Vast options of sandwiches all made when ordered. Along with salad and desserts galore. My only warning would be if you DON'T have the time to sit and enjoy lunch either call ahead or get there early because there is a long wait. But I was not disappointed by this place.

Great place to eat. It's pretty crowded at lunch but their sandwhich is worth the wait. They also have very good homemade cakes. The price is pretty high. Me and my family do eat here a lot. If I could change anything it would only be maybe lower the price. With a family of five it's easy to spend up to $70 here

Delicious California Ruben and splendidly massive piece of pecan pie. Crisp, crunchy pecans but tough crust. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Pretty sterile but very clean. A little pricey but worth it

First visit here after reading positive reviews. Thought I would get a sandwich as I was in the area. The end result was a good pastrami sandwich.the problem was the service . The young man behind the counter just stared at me as I read the sandwich board I asked him if I had choice of bread ,the answer "NO". Cheese"No".. very rude and abrupt.. there were only two people n line so the lace was not busy. All questions were answered like he was being bothered. He is not a quality representation of Wright's reputation . I don't think I'll give a second chance.

I could eat here every day and never tire of it. Love their sandwiches, and everyone with a mouth loves their bakery items. I wish they'd open another location closer to home, but we happily drive over to get our fix.

AMAZING food busy here but for a good reason. Worth the wait. Monte Cristo sandwich is Delicious. and you must snag a piece of their homemade cake (carrot cake is incomparable). Clean facilities, esp since the renovations.
    A true Tampa gem.

It still has all the delicious sandwiches and goodies they had when I went to school nearby. Their expansion is wonderful, plenty of room to move around without bumping into people, plenty of seating in a variety of groupings. The staff was very efficient, helpful, and friendly.
I will recommend Wright's to anyone looking for a place with delicious food and friendly atmosphere.

They have a bright, open, airy deli section, an enormous, well appointed, well lit dining room, with big windows and lots of natural light. They also have 7 individual unisex bathrooms, all of which are recently remodeled and very nice. The staff are excellent, and very energetic and friendly. Most importantly, the food is outstanding. Everything about this place is a win. If you're interested in cafeteria style dining that is a cut above the rest then this place is worth a look.

Finally!!!!!! I have finally come to check this place out and I am rather happy with it. I got the Paris sandwich with the pesto salad. Both were good. I took home the alpine cake which is moist and delicious. I also took home the coconut cream pie and that was average. The prices are definitely expensive for what you get. I took home a banana bread and that was $10. It better be good for that price!

A long time staple in Tampa Bay that has gotten even better with a major (and I really mean MAJOR) revamp of their location. A clean, new look with better parking, a huge interior with new booths and tables, really nice and with the same with food and baked goods that they are known for. My wife would think it an insult to have a birthday without Wright's Gourmet.

I would have always rated them a five star because of the food, but now they really have it all.

South Tampa institution and now under renovation to provide faster service to their clientele, as well as more space for their yummy cakes, pies, and other dessert morsels.

Their gourmet deli meats, cheeses, etc, are simply the best I've had anywhere, ok? Their prices are not going to get you all warm and fuzzy but excellence does come with a price. To me, its worth it, just not 6 days a week. They are almost a 5, and if I could give 4.5 I would. If you have not tried their hand made as you wait sandwiches, fresh potato salad, macaroni salad, etc, and a slice of one of their freshly made cakes, well you will be a believer..and then some.
