An hour wait starting at 10am on a Friday. Double lines to weigh out and complete disorganization. People being cut off by others who don't wait their turn and near fights. I detest having to come to this dump.

Edit: we haven't been back since my last review here. Nothing is better. In fact it's worse. Vehicles won't be let in, people are cutting in line. Then you have the jerks that go through recycle to cut in line. It's chaos.

I know everyone has major complaints about the dump. However, we had an amazing experience. We went up on Friday in the afternoon with a trailer full of metal to recycle. There was not a single vehicle there and the two workers were so extremely helpful. We are in our mid-60s to 70 years old and we are willing and able to unload our trailer. However, the workers not only helped my husband with directions to back up but they also helped us unload. They could not have been more polite. It really was an excellent experience.

After at least a half dozen attempts to get through to someone who could start my new service everything went as I expected. I received a bin with a broken wheel and it was replaced on my next pick-up day. I have no problems with long lines at the transfer station as I don't go during peak hours or weekends! So for those of you who are complaining you need to plan your trips a little better to avoid the long wait times! I think during these times where the entire nation is dealing with employee shortages we all need to show a little patience and understanding. The place I work for suffered a complete building collapse during the heavy snow storms this past winter. Fortunately they accomplished us by making accomodations for us to work in the Auburn facility. I could have been out of a job completely and as a senior who had to go back to work to make ends meet I can't tell you how difficult it would have been to try and find another job in Nevada county that takes care of their employees like that. So my advice is that let's all just settle down and instead of complaining about problems why not provide a solution to the problems instead? You never know!

They will generally get you serviced on time, but if you get missed it takes a lot of hoops to even to custermer service for help.

The biggest issue we have with them is their failure to respond to request to deal with hazard waste at their transfer station in nevada county. No one at general call number can help and at the posted phone number no one answers or calls back. I would never do this but the pain it is to try and recycle hazard material makes me realize why I see so much of it just dumped on the side of roads.

WM is perhaps the least professional company I have ever dealt with. I started my service in January - it is now April and I STILL have not received my garbage cans, so I have had NO trash service despite being charged every month. I call regularly to see what on earth is going on, and over and over again I am told that an emergency delivery will happen for my address but it never does. Sometimes I am promised a call back with more information, and that never comes. Most recently I was told that there is a "national can shortage" and that there are no cans to deliver. That seems like a baffling statement to me. Does that mean you have had NO new customers since January?? If you truly have no cans, then why do you allow people to sign up and start CHARGING them if you have no infrastructure to provide the service you promise??? No solid ETA on when I can expect cans either. I was told I that they would not pick up personal cans if I went out and bought my own. So, essentially I am being held hostage by WM, unable to get any other garbage service in my area. It's honestly hard to believe how far you have let this go. I am about to contact the BBB since apparently you can't help me directly.
