Why is Waste Management sending out surveys about if customers would recommend their service? Am I missing something? They have a monopoly.
Rental property tenants went to dump with a letter, giving them permission from me the owner of the property. Was informed rules changed as of May 1 and have to fill out a form to have tenants have free dumps was not informed of this and feel I should be reimbursed $60 for the dump they made Called the office and got the standard answer policy changed May 1. In other words so sad too bad screw you.
WM is a great resource to have. One issue that I have is when I had to drop off my refrigerator, the place stated that I could not because their person was not available. I had rented a truck, double checked the web site as well as called before going.
I only use WM because we are forced to due to the counties contract. There service has been unreliable and they are not honest in their communications. They failed to pick up 2 weeks in a row when the weather was perfect. When asked they claimed there was a storm in the area (it was 70 and sunny) and that the roads were muddy also untrue.
Reno has WIND and weather changes that make trash and recycling a challenge. Waste Management does make the effort to win battles with elements thrown our way. Their fees are very reasonable. Better than all the other utilities in our area!
