We once were regulars, we stayed at Least three times a week. The
Manager seemed like he was cool with us but one day we couldn't take all our belongings so he said he'd watch our things. We literally came back 3 hours later and he told us he didn't know what happened to them he left everything outside. He actually was laughing while he was telling us this. Also, the rooms are not so great they're actually really ghetto. Probably cause it's in the ghetto there's no stores, restaurants or anything. I wouldn't waste my money there again. Besides the manager is a weirdo. So just beware if you stay there.

Too bad I can’t pick zero stars. All my mother and I wanted to do was take a few photos for a school project. We didn’t just walk in and start or sneak in or anything. We went to the office we asked the guy with crazy eyes at the front desk if we could just take a few photos. Instead of politely declining, he decided to be insanely rude. Yelling at my mom and I about it and then taking one picture of us using my camera. It’s a canon 7D DSLR. When I tried to show him how to use it his response was “do you know how many I own?” By the state of the motel and the fact he works front desk I’m assuming none. He would only take one picture. And then he proceeded to film our car with his phone while we left like we tried to steal something when we asked politely. Based on other reviews on here I would just avoid this place until that man is either fired or leaves or comes under new ownership.

Stayed here one night. It's a unique experience staying in a Wigwam and much more fun than going to the usual hotel/motel. Wigwam was clean, stay way good and the owner was very nice. It's worth checking out if you're staying in the area.

Your very own "cosy cone" on rte 66. Clean and tidy. Good beds, but noticeable road noise . We all slept very well having just flown in from the UK (awake for 23hrs straight) so needed it. Great value all round

Loved it. Smaller on the inside than I had thought but awesome. Clerk was a bit weird but that only lasted a bit. Would totally do it again.

The Wigwam Motel was a neat place to stay. They had a pool, but the website said it was extra to use it. The front desk attendant was somehow friendly but also sort of scatterbrained and dismissive. He did not charge us to use the pool, but was very firm that we HAD to be out of it by 8pm. Aside from that strange encounter the room was nice. The bed was very tall! But it was fun and we had a great time.

We stayed here at the end of our Route 66 trip. We almost didn't stop at after visiting the other Wigwam Motel in Arizona. The Arizona location was run down and didn't even have someone at the desk until 4 pm.
But this location was amazing. Clean, and well cared for. Like stepping back in time, a perfect end to a complete tour of Route 66. The guy at the desk was helpful and friendly. Gave us recommendations on where to eat and asked about our trip.

The owner was extremely friendly to us. The wigwams were really neat to stay in, the room decorations were a bit dated but I thought that was part of the appeal. It's not in a quiet neighborhood but it is on Rt 66 so we didn't expect it to be. The housekeeping was awesome, she cleaned and changed the sheets daily. I would recommend a visit, we stayed for several weeks and will again when we're back in that area. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here twice and i am a local. Nice to lay out by the pool and feel really comfy and the hospitality Kumar gives makes you feel right at home. So check in and relax .
UPDATE: ABOUT A WEEK AGO I HAD SOME BUSINESS IN THE AREA, ITS WAS LATE AFTERNOON AND I THOUGHT I WOULD DRIVE BY AND SEE HOW THE MOTEL LOOKS. I DROVE IN JUST TO TAKE A QUICK LOOK AND MAYBE TAKE A PHOTO. HE COMES KUMAR , EXPECTING A GREETING HE IS TOTALLY RUDE AND ACCUSING VERBALLY RANTING AND RAVING AND TO GET OFF THE PROPERTY. WHEN I SAID ,"KUMAR ITS ME LARRY IVE BEEN A GUEST HERE A FEW TIMES" he replied, "I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE, GET OUT"
well Fuck you Kumar.. I would never go there again if this is how he thinks of loyal customers. His manner was nothing but rude and deranged. He sure didn't look like the Kumar of before

We were going to stay here then I noticed things like the owner responding to two different one-star reviews with the exact same response about the reviewer being in a beat-up van or some such. Then I looked more and saw them be hostile to anyone who has anything negative to say. If you've got an unhappy customer, you do what you can to make it right. If you can't make it right, or if they're being unreasonable, you take the high ground and don't go for personal insults. What I've seen from these responses is enough to confirm the negative reviews.

I love the set up of this place. Always very clean. Stayed twice. Guy up front is cool just puts a guard up because of the area. Is what I'm thinking. But other than that very nice place.

I was so excited to stay here and thought it would be awesome when I first checked inthe room was okay, very musty and there were a lot of bugs. The foldout couch had no bedding and Kumar refused to bring any to us (also wouldn't let me come get it). He told me I'm a bad mother who obviously doesn't care about my kids. Seriously. He ended up bringing a blanket, but then acted like a lunatic, accusing me of threatening him while screaming at me. I for real was just standing there in shock; my kids were scared he was going to hurt us. I have never had such crazy bad customer service in my life! Then he kept writing all these crazy things about me so my email was blowing up, and he called at 6am telling me I don't have the right to leave him a negative review since he'd been cool at check-in and had brought us the blanket. He told me he'd give me a refund if I said nice things. No thanks. He behaved as though he was mentally unstable and/or on drugs. Very volatile. I am a very easy-going person and did nothing to provoke or threaten him. It was ridiculous!

We stayed here a few times and we didn't want to leave. Kumar is such a great host and works hard to keep not only the Wigwam Motel in shape but the spirit of route 66 alive! It feels like family when we stay. 5 stars is not enough☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
