Just heard you talking on NPR about losing the Inn. Want you to know that prayers for your success are being said. Also, consider a gofund me to help rebuild.

2 stars off for cockroaches in our room. But everything else was perfect! Gorgeous view, friendly stuff, even friendly dog. Location is good too. It's 15 min drive to sombrero Beach, which is my favorite. Most rooms have kitchen, but in our was just microwave and a fridge (it actually explains cockroaches situation). Oh, and make sure you watch sunrise over there, it's absolutely stunning!

I had a fantastic weekend getaway at White Sands. My family and I just moved to the area a few weeks and found this little gem. The owner and her daughter were very warm and welcoming. And don't get me started on the amazing guest assistant, (Brenda)!

When I come to Marathon I only stay herewalking out of my rooms in the morning feels like a little slice of paradise, and laying on my lounge chair at night looking up at the full sky of stars (it's so quiet you can hear a pin drop) makes me feel like at that moment I'm in a peaceful heaven .
The girls and Tom who work there are the nicest, most accommodating people I have been around in a long time, they make me feel like we have been friends a long time! The rooms are comfortable, clean, and feel like a small beach house with the decor.
Another great part of my stays there are no matter if all the rooms are full or just a few are, the guests that stay there are quiet and respectful and I never hear anyone and when I go there it's exactly for that reason for peace and relaxation!

The White Sands is a perfect place to get away from it all. I visited for two nights and used the hammock almost the whole time I was there. The staff was super friendly and was always around if I needed anything. The inn had a small town feel that as the other guests were super friendly. I can't wait until my next visit so I can relax in that hammock again!

Great simple place to stay. My family lives in Miami and enjoy a weekend away. The price is great. It's simple and quiet which is all we need. Great location to be close to all the fishing bridges.
It's not a 5 star hotel at all, so as a "tourist attraction" you will be dissappointed. But for my family's needs, this was absolutely perfect in every way.
We will most likely always stay here from now on.response / report this review
