A good deal for a last minute booking. Our group was a group of 4 which the room was meant for a group of 4 but the room had only two single Beds.We brought our boat down for the mini season and was told by the owner that it was alright. When we wanted to wash the boat, you needed to get the key to the faucet, which you need to wait 30 minutes for the owner to tell the maintenance man
to get even though the owner had a faucet key and lived right next to the motel.
Bad experience at the motel, but it is impossible to have a bad experience in the keys. I most likely will not be coming back here; yet this place was the cheapest for the season and is a good back up if your other plans fail.response / report this review -

Had been to Siesta on 06/29/2013. Very cosy and convenient. Just next to the highway. Staff is very cooperative. We reached late at night from Orlando, but the owner kept the room ready for us. Had a great time being there since the activity center was also at convenient distance from the motel. Thanks again.

We stayed here a few months back for a night. The rooms were ok but mildewy smell. We went to see if we could maybe switch rooms if they had an opening, but the office clerk had a snippy attitude. Good thing we only needed one night. We won't be going there again.

This is without a doubt the best place to stay for your money when in the keys. It honestly needs ☆☆☆☆☆ more stars added. Have been going and staying at the Siesta Motel for many years now and always recommend it to anyone going for vacation.

August 11th, 2017- We have enjoyed our stay here immensely! It is right in the middle of the Keys, easy access to Key West and Key Largo. The rooms are very nice as well. Only the snottiest of folks would turn up their noses. Sure, it has a couple of little issues but I am guessing it is due to the wet climate. The rooms are extremely clean and housekeeping is ON it every single day. They even noticed when we were using extra pillows and made sure we had the fluffiest ones the next day. Its very quiet as well with a nice little back yard. There are 2 grills out back, not just the charcoal one that someone else turned their nose up at. The other is a gas grill so you have your choice. There is a full size fridge and microwave in the room and two queen beds as well as a tv with cable. The shower is nice and big enough to clean dive gear in and let them air dry. We really have no complaints other than having to leave day after tomorrow. :(

My stay here was very enjoyable. The room was very clean. I had a room on the back side which had a very quit smoking area. Had a home away from home feel.

Great tropical relaxation spot. Rooms were immaculately clean. I loved the tropical courtyard in the back where our room was. Very quietand family friendly. There is no pool but who needs a pool when surrounded by watetheOur room was a fully equipped kitchenette with all new tile and paint. The ac rockedcoldest room ever!

No Frank, the credit card didn't reverse it in your favor or my card would of shown the charges, I received their letter that states that.. The dispute was in my favor. I can see you can't handle negative reviews on your run down hotel because you know that's exactly what your hotel is run down. I live on a beautiful yacht by the way, moron. If I did live in a basement it would be a 5 star upgrade compared to your dump. Your mom still working the streets? Suck it up buttercup, I got my money back. If you got any then you managed to trick the card company as well. You're good at that. I was in another country as a hurricane was coming and the storm could of went anywhere whether there was evacuations or not. You chose not to come up with a solution that coukd of eorked for both of us,because we would of rescheduled after the storm passed.

I haven't been to this place yet and I made the stupid mistake of booking without looking into the reviews and.now Expedia can't get in touch with Frank to simply cancel my reservation. I am so afraid I won't even get to go to the Keys now if he charges me. I don't make that kind of money to throw it away.

We always book late. If frank has a room we go. We are out of ft laud. We stay saturday nights and sunday. We arrive late. Door always open. We pay in am. Frank always accommodating. Prices best in the keys. No one is catering to your every whim here. No bugs ever in my room. Always clean. We come sleep fish party sleep fish and then home. Always a pleasure. Thanks frank

We cancelled our trip 3 days before our arrival to Marathon due to a hurricane approaching back in October. We were worried about it. I emailed Frank the owner about it and he tried charging us for the 2 nights anyway and wasn't going to refund the money. After some heated email exchanges ,I figured not getting anywhere with this guy. I disputed with my credit card company and they ruled in my favor and refunded all my money. We originally booked through his website. Make sure to book through a travel website while dealing with small keys hotels. You dont get to scam my money like you've done with ,apparently, quite a few others according to the reviews.

Look, it's not 5 star hotel that waits on you hand and foot but it's quiet, cozy, has a few scratches here and there but def worth it. Was a pleasant surprise.

Frank is very open about his place! He puts it like this "Best Place for the Money Spent". I agree with him. Don't have any high expectations and you will do just fine. It can't be anymore good for the money spent. I would definitely stay there again. Also, I stayed there even after reading all the negative comments about this place, but I should say it's a genuine neat place.
