Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous pulling up. It was 1am and the place looked a little shady. When we opened the door I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't stinky and it looked decent.
My bed was comfy, plenty of blankets, and comfy pillows. No bed bugs either!
Few cosmetic things in our room but hey you want a cheap room you gotta expect a few things to no be up to par.

The room is slightly smaller than I expected, very comfortable beds, quiet. Does have beach access and a beautiful view of the lake. Only complaint is not enough outlets. All the outlets are being used by their stuff, a.c./mini fridge, tv, lights, no room for cell phone chargers and there are no in room phones. Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed.

I started off with 5 stars because the price through the chamber of commerce was $59 - can't beat that! Also, free water park tickets to a nice place up the street.

The room and furniture were very dated but I didn't care about that because as previously mentioned the room and water park were only $59!

I took off 2 stars because of the mold in the grout in the shower. That's an easy, cheap thing to fix so the place gets no breaks from me there. The room was otherwise clean, even if it did look old.

Not impressed. When I called to confirm my online reservation, the front desk said there wasn't one, but then "found" it when I said I could give my confirmation number. There was no continental breakfast, even though the site said there was. The room was pretty bad. Chipped paint and dirty walls, sticky spots on carpet, furnishing were falling apart, the bed frame was very shaky, and the overall room was in need of updating. The outside of the building was unkept and messy with garbage laying around. The outdoor carpet on the walkway was stained, ripped and falling apart. The only redeeming feature was the beds were clean or we would have paid to cancel and went somewhere else. No amenities in the rooms like microwave, coffee pot, local info; only a mini fridge.

In order to reach Waterfront Inn, I had to go through a different motel(I called the number on their website). I kept getting disconnected by the other motel and it took 4 tries to finally reach Waterfront. We also called the night before the deadline to cancel our reservation but no one picked up. No way to leave a message either. So when we called in the morning, they said we were too late and we paid for the night but didn't stay there. I actually thought it was a scam before see the motel in person.

Room was nice, cozy and clean. The view of the island and bridge was amazing and the pool and hot tub were great. A good place to stay a couple days if you're planning on going to the island. The docks are within walking distance

Deas bugs in the bed, smells like it was soaked in bleach yet somehow still dirty. Checked out within 10 minutes of check-in, no refund, but I would have actually paid more money to leave sooner.

The room looks a little jankity and cheap at first inspection. The TV wires come down and are visible on the way to the plug. The bed, however, (I'm in a king room) was surprised to find that the bed and pillows were comfy memory foam. The water is hot from the shower though not a lot of pressure to help take soap and shampoo off my body. The access to the lake is perfect. pleasant and beautiful.

This hotel has a great location, right off the beach. It's perfect! It's a really cheap hotel though. Cheap is great and all but it also kinda feels like a run down motel. The experience isn't unbearable but it's the little things like a coffee maker or microwave or even a free breakfast that really make a hotel an experience. Unfortunately, this hotel has none of those little thing.
