Hotel is very pretty (and huge) and the rooms are gorgeous. You could say it's out of the way because it shares a private road with another Hilton hotel, but if you get a room facing the pool (looking away from the golf course) you'll see the fireworks from a Disney park at night. Staff is pretty nice as well; I come from and live in a middle class area so I'm used to stalking with everyone matter of factly and the staff never break composure with me (believe me, I've tried). This particular hotel doesn't offer any parking areas for you to use yourself but they have a "come and go" style of valet that costs 30 dollars a day, and they're really efficient at their jobs, like top notch. If you get bugged out by the valet service the Hilton next door has a parking garage that costs 18 dollars, I'm not sure of the details about it though. Also the bar in the hotel is pretty legit.
Service was impeccable. Tomahawk steak was amazing, it's visually impressive with the huge frenched bone. The Mac and cheese was cheesy but I like a sharper cheese in my Mac. Mushrooms..I could have just ate the mushrooms and died happy. The drinks may be a couple dollars more but are spot on.
The Waldorf suite was very comfortable. The bed was fabulous and the pillows. We did have issues with a running toilet and leaky shower. The maid rang our doorbell even though there was a do not disturb sign twice, 20 minutes before checkout time and 10 minutes before checkout. I did no appreciate feeling hurried. For the price you pay everything should be perfect
Modern resort hotel with a golf course. Biggest issue we have is parking. It takes forever. We'll see it being refreshed and many furnishings are starting to show their age.
I love staying at this hotel. The pool and golf course is kept very well maintained Considering how much traffic they get and the hotel is absolutely beautiful the bar area is beautiful and great to grab a late night drink at or an early morning coffee. I have stayed here many times. I’ve brought friends and I’ve also brought family. I highly recommend checking it out when it’s dressed for Christmas that is my favourite but the hot is always breathtaking. One of my favourite hotels in Florida!
The concierge and front desk staff are incompetent. I came back 3 times with the assurance the next time my issue would be fixed. Each time I was offered a different excuse. Melissa offered no help and couldn’t even get in touch with security to return a lost item. You would think the Waldorf would be known for their customer service, but, not the case at this location. If you are looking for superior customer service look elsewhere.
Absolutely the best hotel I've stayed at. Love that there was twice a day room cleaning. The entire hotel looks very classy and fancy. The staff is very professional and attentive to my needs and wants. Also love that it is connected to the Hilton next door so you can access the restaurants, bars, and shopping.
We are halfway through our stay and we thoroughly enjoy the resort. The service has been first-rate, the rooms are beautiful, and we have been treated so well. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.
The hotel looks a bit blah from the outside, but the lobby and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The pool area is fantastic with good service. No issues with hallway noise. Location is close to Disney, but I was there for a work meeting so I wasn't able to get out there. Bear & Bull (or Bull & Bear?) restaurant located in the hotel was great.
Just had a girls spa weekend over Memorial Day. The hotel was extremely busy and overbooked. However, all hospitality members were extremely courteous and delightful. Everyone tried to please the guests. From the sweet towel lady Anna to everyone at the spa, we thank you for making our girls getaway extremely memorable. The rooms were immaculate, clean and comfortable. Drinks are a bit pricey, but it goes with the territory. Highly recommend getting pampered.
We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria on Memorial weekend and it was amazing. The best was the in-room dining experience. The food and service was impeccable. The pool area is stunning and relaxing. The room was clean and spacious. The view of the golf course was gorgeous. VIP service from check in to check out. I had a day full of spa treatments, thanks to my husband and it was the most relaxing experience I've had. The spa area is huge, clean, and quiet. The staff were all so helpful and pleasant. Everyone needs to get away and stay at the Waldorf Astoria at least once in their lifetime. It is pricey but definitely worth it.
Great stay. Spa was wonderful the hotel and rooms were gorgeous. Staff very friendly and helpful they go above and beyond to make you feel special! doesn't feel like your right next door to Disney.. Will definitely go back.
What a phenomenal hotel. We came here to the golf club for lunch and had a fantastic meal. The staff was patient, professional and courteous and the food was amazing. The view was also spectacular. I would highly recommend coming here for a meal or if you want to stay at a spectacular hotel!
