Used to love it, but
This location is simply no longer the high-end dining it once was.
Service was sloppy and unpoised for the price point; had better service at the chain restaurants.
Food was too mediocre for the price. Dinner came to the table luke warm, and no one cared enough to check in us.
We have all but resigned ourselves to quick service eats around Universal City Walk.
Tip: if you are interested in gourmet cuisine in this area, consider going to Sapphire Falls resort nearby where the food is much better.

We had open table reservation and they didn't check us in which was a negative for open table. Restaurant had nice decor and the team serving staff was great, very friendly. The food was unfortunately below average, especially compared to other Emeril locations. Definitely better food in the nearby vicinity. Pass on this one.

For a celebratory restaurant I have never felt more rushed through a meal in my life. The appetizer showed up with the meal which is a major no no. The dining hall was way too loud. The noise echoes which made talking extremely difficult. Just was expecting allot more. The food was the only saving grace.

First of all, there was dirt in my kale, so much that my boyfriend could hear me crunching on it from the other side of the table. It was painful to eat.
I ordered chicken because I do not eat red meat, but it turns out they put beef in the rice and in the potatoes, so I could not eat those. The service was not that great, and we didn’t get a chance to tell our waiter that I couldn’t eat half of my meal, so my boyfriend ended up eating almost both of our meals.
It was our anniversary and I included that in the reservation, but no one acknowledged our anniversary at all.
This is a very minor issue, but they also had all of the knives turned the wrong way in the table setting.. weird for a restaurant that is trying to be fine dining.

A close friend of mine and myself dined at Emeril’s while on vacation staying at the Loews Portofino Bay Resort at Universal Studios. We looked up the menu online and were able to call in and make reservations for dinner at 8:30 that evening. With timing we arrived early at the restaurant but we were still able to be seated immediately at a table by the window. From beginning to the very finish of our dining experience the staff was exceptionally well mannered and accommodating to our needs. Personally for me I ordered the chicken breast entree and was able to substitute the sides I wanted instead of getting the standard meal on the menu provided. Everything tasted amazing and I would definitely would recommend to anyone willing to want the full 5 star dining experience!!!

Puked my brains out after from too much food, don’t worry it wasn’t because of food poisoning or too much watered down rum and coke. Was way too overpriced for me to say it was great. It was okay, not something I would do again. Great 4 for 48$ deal though. Would have enjoyed it more had I not lost the mushroom pasta an hour later.

My wife & I stopped in for dinner recently. Meal got off to a bad start, as it had to be about 85 in there, very warm. We did not have an app. as we were looking forward to their fantastic dinner rolls. It had been 2 years since last eating there and they no longer have the excellent tasting dinner rolls but a very dry, bland tasting biskit. My wife had scallops and they were excellent. I had the braised beef short ribs and it tasted like the $8.99 pot roast dinner special at your local diner. For $36, should have been much better than that, not very good. It came with brussel sprouts that were way over cook, hard and crunchy. We shared the bread pudding for dessert and it was excellent. I gave this a three star, as the service was excellent as well. With many other venues to dine at in City Walk, we will surely go to another place to eat next time.

This place is over priced and disgusting. Cornbread appetizer was dry, the house salad had no flavor, and the shrimp and grits were disgusting. The shrimp were grey and under cooked, the sausage on top had an odd flavor. The tomato based sauce was flavorless. $70 later i'm pretty pissed about that meal. I expected so much more from Emeril. The service was great except the water guy wasn't on top of his game as much as everyone else. Maybe if more time was spent on the food instead of on delivering dishes to the table at the same time, it could have been better.

I had a dinner reservation here with a party of 9. We got seated immediately, and our drinks came out rather quickly. The waiter brought out the most unappatizing food I have ever seen. It was literally cat food on a vegan Ritz cracker (cucumber slice) with Cheese Whiz squirted on top. I finished my Coke and sat for 10 minutes before I finally had to ask for another one. A restaurant like this should notice that kind of stuff, you know? The menu has nothing worth the price on it. It was so bad that I literally ordered an appetizer (BBQ Shrimp) and left hungry. The shrimp tasted good at least, but my aunt's steak was burned and they forgot to cook an order of green beans. If there was one thing I can recommend to customers going to this restaurant, it would be to cancel your order and go down the road to the Hard Rock Cafe.

Went there for late lunch after a day at the parks. It was just okay. Over priced hamburger. Service was really good, though. And the place is very nice. But the food was just so-so. Maybe dinner is better.

We had planned ahead and made a reservation on Open Table, however I got the impression reservations were not required. This was the last night of our honeymoon so we wanted it to be special. Everything we put in our mouth made my husbands eyes roll. The food was amazing as well as the service! Strongly recommend the banana cream pie for dessert. Will definitely go again!

Two thumbs down Emril of Orlando! I had dinner here this evening. I ordered the shrimp and grits and overall the entree was good. Portion was very small and not worth $30 IMHO. The one star rating is not driven by the quality of food but rather the service.
I ate at the bar and the server was terrible. I had to ask for a menu and ask to order a beverage (only one other person was seated at the bar). I pay close to customer service. Not once was I asked how I was doing. Meanwhile, the server was kind to other patrons ensuring their food was right and checking in. I was left speechless with a "Thanks Bro" after I requested a check and closed out.response / report this review -

A true gourmet restaurant. It was a real treat! Exceptional polite service! We were dressed for the park and it wasn't a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed or meal! Also great wine list!

Food fantastic, staff even better. It was our anniversary and we'd had a DAY. We were transported to the perfect dining experience start to finish. All of the staff is GENUINELY warm, but didn't overdo it. We will be back. Thank you Emeril's for giving us one of the best memories of our trip.
