Went last night to test drive a 2016 Mercedes Benz and had the pleasure of having David Hernandez assist us. Honestly, I was dreading going car shopping but my experience with him made me want to buy a car from him just because he was not pushy AT ALL. Even though the dealership was extremely busy, he was still available for any questions we had but at the same time, gave us the space to actually discuss the vehicle or any details on our own in private (my husband and I). Although we did not purchase a vehicle last night, I would go back to Dave in a heartbeat if we decide to purchase the vehicle we test drove. Thanks Dave!

Prior 5 star review: I have always had a good experience at Veteran's Ford. I trust them to know my car as they deal exclusively in Fords so that makes me feel that they are experts. I have been taking my car there for 4 years with no issues.

Update on 12.9.17: I took my car in for transmission service and it was done well. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation which was also
Also completed. The issue is that they usually do an inspection of the car with the oil change and tire rotation. This was not done and now am getting notices on my dashboard of low windshield wiper fluid and low tire pressure. It would have been nice for them to have dealt with that when they did the service. I went and purchased my own fluid and used an entire gallon jug and that did not even top off the fluid as the fluid was very low at time of service. My mechanic friend who put the air in my tires said that all 4 tires had very low tire pressure. I wish that more attention had been paid to details on my last service. I should have not had to worry about that stuff especially since I got the car back 1 week ago.

Veterans has been taking care of my 2014 Fusion hybrid since I purchased it new. The car has been trouble free so the only service she has needed have been oil changes and check ups. And a couple Ford recalls. All have been handled with efficiency. Car is returned clean and ready to go. I usually call in advance to make service appointments and I’m in and out very quickly. Just before Thanksgiving I waited a little too long to call for an oil change. I explained I had a long drive to make for the holidays and Veterans got me in and out in less than an hour - despite being very busy that day.

I inquired about a car online with the first salesman, I was giving the amount for the car and not satisfied. I felt they could do better on the price. The first salesman said that's the absolute lowest they can go, and soon it will go to the auction. What sense does that make, when I'm asking for a better deal to send the car to the auction? So another internet sales associate reached out to me the next day, and I told her the situation, she then referred me on to another salesman because the first salesman was off. The second salesman Aaron was very helpful and was actually able to help me with the price, great right?! So I agree that that's a great price and come in to test the car. The first salesman was in that day and already seemed annoyed with me because of the deal, the whole experience with him was very uncomfortable. We get back to the dealership after the test drive and he brings the bill of sale and a pen. When we tell him that we have one more car to look at, he gets really annoyed and is like I thought this was a done deal. so salesman number one must of got so annoyed he sends salesman number 2 out. The whole experience was awful, especially with salesman one. The aggressive sale technique, attitude and lack of customer service drove me to buy from another dealership.

The parts and service department are AMAZING! Cara and Travis go above and beyond to get you in and out, and if there are any issues explain everything and will get you to the right person to fix it. We will continue to come here for services and/or new vehicles

Aaron at Veterans Ford Tampa was awesome! We arrived at 7pm and I drove off the lot around 9pm w/ my new Ford Escape -- I knew what I wanted and unlike most sales people he listened and took me right over to the vehicle I liked. Aaron got the keys, we went on a test drive and the rest is history -- w/in two hours the entire buying process was completed. Thank you Veterans Ford for employing Aaron, because of him we had a pleasant car buying experience; I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a Ford to visit Veterans and ask for Aaron!

Used F-250 Super Duty Diesel 4x4
When we found this truck it had not gone through service yet. Unfortunately they found some problems that would result in a $4000+ service. Veteran ford and our salesman Aron stepped up and honored the sale price listed and covered all of the expenses in the service. We are very happy with the truck and Service we received at Veterans Ford.

One of the worst experiences we have ever had with a car company. My car needed a transmission.so instead of buying with a new car with a monthly payment,we figured we would just get it fixed.After looking at the car,Travis gave us a quote for 3500 to 4200. We agreed to get it fixed. All the other shops only had used transmissions .when Travis got back to us of course the cost ended up being 4300 (higher price spectrum) to get it ALL done Final price for the work.. Even on the phone I asked for price I should have had it on paper.. My biggest regret.Then he said we needed 400 for another part. Travis called us about it and said it needed to be fixed, "after they had already taken the car apart" so we did it but he claimed they gave us a deal since we were already spending a lot The part would only be 200 instead of 400. When we went to get the car out . They charged us 5100 dollars total. We expected to pay about 4600 .. Then told us Travis didn't add labor or taxes when he gave us that price..clearly we asked him multiple times when we called up over the phone.. And when he rang it all up. We asked him all together and he told us 4500 and change for labor and everything originally . So when we asked to speak to Travis face to face, they declined.. Then told us he was out sick.. Then when we ask when we can come in to sit down and speak with him. They then informed us that he has been out for a couple days and they were not sure when he was coming back. They did not work with us. I mean $5100 spent and not even one apology or trying rectify the situation. I just moved down here to Florida and I tell you it was a bad way to start a relationship with a customer. Poor customer service. Ive been going through these reviews and over seen that this has been done to multiple customers. Its truly sad.. I was referred to Bill Curie Ford but I came to this one cause it was closer to my house. NEVER AGAIN

I was more than pleased to purchase a new vehicle from Veterans Ford. They worked with me to find the vehicle that fit my desires and my lifestyle. I started out to get an estimate for an air conditioner repair 2012 Escape with 123k miles) it is very hot in Tampa. I could figure out that my vehicle was at the end of its life cycle: it was just not economically feasible to repair. The new car deals were better than the used car deals, so I am now in a comfortable Escape for less out of pocket per month than I was spending on the older model vehicle. The sales staff worked together as a great team and I am very happy to recommend this dealership to others.
