Me, my husband and family decided to eat dinner at Veranda Bistro this past Friday night & what a great decision! Our server was Lauren, she greeted us with a smile and answered all of our questions about the menu. They had a great selection of food and the atmosphere was pleasant. Part of my family ordered three different pizza's. My husband had the Star City pizza which he stated was the best pizza that he has ever had. I ordered the phiily cheese steak calzone which was large in size and was amazing. The food was fresh, hot and authentic. Our waitress Lauren kept up with our requests and drink refills. She was polite and provided us with excellent customer service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new Italian place. It beats all the others! We will be back!!

The food was great overall. Fresh salad and bread sticks, creamy eggplant, and homemade dessert to top it all off. Don't pass this one up!

I'm so upset. First of all 35 dollars for 2 small gyros and a bowl of pasta and salad. Both gyros are as cold as day because I had to Go back and get the salad they didn't give me. The lettuce on my gyro is YELLOW AND BROWN. I'm disgusted and am not eating here again.

I recommend this place to anyone who likes an authentic Italian dinner. I love the chicken parmesan and my partner just adored the chicken cacciatore!

Great food, (made fresh not frozen), excellent service, nice surroundings. Not overpriced. The owners are SO NICE! We go there about every 3 months. Lovely.

Great visit to this restaurant. Our waiter was friendly. The food though, blew us away as we sat outside enjoying the work summer evening in the middle of louscious green trees. I cannot stress enough how amazing this place was

Just had the most amazing meal at Veranda tonight! Some of the best leg of lamb I've ever had--tender, juicy, and accented with a nice wine reduction sauce! In all the times I've been to Veranda, I've never had a meal that wasn't delicious. You can't go wrong with their pizza or calzones. The crust has this wonderful buttery flavor. I'm told it's a family recipe. Every meal is crafted with care, like you're part of the family. Their tiramisu is my abosolute favorite. And, I love their carrot cake. I've hated carrot cake as long as I can remember. I mean, veggies in a dessert? But, I ended up eating a whole slice and going back for more. The staff are welcoming and friendly. And, you shouldn't miss dining on the patio overlooking the stream. Veranda is a great place for date nights or family dinners. One bite, and you'll keep going back. I have!

It doesn't look like much from the outsideattached to a local convenience store gas and go, however.
the Greek food, the service, the congeniality of this mom and pop restaurant were absolutely wonderful. Some of the best Greek food my wife and I have ever eaten! The desserts were to die for! What a lovely surprise and modestly pricedresponse / report this review -

Went there for a dinner because of a recommendation from a local hotel desk assistant. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly even though my initial suspicions because of its location next to a gas station.
