The good: staff was friendly, ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced.
The bad: a transient was camping next door, bathroom was dirty and old, campfire had debris, broken bottles, etc.
    Would not stay there again.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The camp site was clean and the camp store and the hand dipped ice cream were wonderful. The owners made me feel at home. Very glad we stayed here. I would come back here again.

Hand dipped ice cream!! Service was awesome, very old fashioned. Didn't stay at campground however I liked the folks so much I would consider staying here vs. Douthat park. Cheaper too!

Friendly staff. Great movie rental choices. Wifi worked great. Lots of ice cream. Men's restroom was the worse I've ever seen in a campground. Had no toilet paper or paper towels in it the whole weekend. Floor was littered with dead stink bugs. Hadn't been swept for weeks. Toilet and sink both need to be replaced. I went and bought a water filter for the rv, but it didn't help with the sulphur smell at all.

Friendly, helpful people and clean, well cared for area. I was sad that when I was told our tent site would be "back in the woods" it meant about 60 feet from the driveway. If you're into community camping this place is fantastic. If you're looking to have a little privacy, this isn't yiur place. Sites are very close together.

Really quiet and serene RV park! Owners are super nice and try their very best to accommodate customers. Food is good and reasonably priced. Ice cream is the best! Very interesting store with a sitting poet, lots of Appalachian mementoes and fairly well stocked supplies. We stayed 4 nights in our RV and hated to leave but needed to move on. I would definitely stay here again.
