The location is great and the heated pools are a great treat. However, I have never been to a dirtier place in my life. The carpets were visibly dusty, mold had settled in several windows, the plates from someone's dinner mounted guard in front of the elevator for two days! One microwave oven for seven storeys of hotel rooms, no courtesy coffee, and the list goes on. Can't recommend.
Staff was friendly and helpful but the room could have been a little cleaner. I expected more from this resort. Everything was good and we would consider going again if we are ever in the area.
Absolutely loved this place! It's so beautiful, and comfortable. It's a really big resort and takes a while to find your way. But the staff is really nice and accommodating
They had a nice hot continental breakfast buffet. They use the same fake eggs you would get at a Days Inn. I toured a hotel room that was very beautiful and nice. They had a small water park area for children. The outdoor pool is heated. I don't know that all of the rooms are as beautiful as the one that I saw. The inside was clean.
Clean comfortable rooms. Great view overlooking pools. Lots of useful amenities. Beautiful water features and walkways throughout. Outdoor areas desperately need pressure washing. Pool furniture was moldy and broken. Would stay again when the outdoor areas are cleaned up.
Great Location close to Theme Parks by car, across from Celebration but it has nothing to do with famous town of Celebration, as Radisson likes to promote this hotel. Definitely not a Resort. Desperately needs updating and some major improvements/repairs, as others have already stated. Cleaning Staff
doesn't speak English, cleanliness reflects their heritage of a South American third world country. It's a 3 Star hotel at the most due to serious neglect, repair issues. Definitely not a luxury accommodation.
Definitely not somewhere I would stay again. First off to everyone, if you are storing food in the fridge be sure to turn it on. The cafe in the lobby had great food that is served late, the cheesecake is delicious. The lobby is beautiful and it goes down hill from there. The hallways smell like moth balls. The bedding was clean but the rest of the room was filthy. There was mold and hair in the sink when we first got there, scribbles of ink pen all over the furniture, stains all over the floor, I wouldn't even walk around without my shoes on. The pool area is beautiful but the area was too crowded for us to spend much time there.
my husband and I were just in Orlando for a conference and were originally placed in the 5000 building. It needs some updates! But the kicker was there were hairs on chairs and on the sheets on the bed, little bugs in the bed, ants all throughout the room, and the bathroom had some nasty goop still on the counters in the bathroom. This was all after we booked a king size room and was given two doubles. They were struggling. They ended up eventually getting us into another room but it took 4 hours. If you have reservations I would recommend asking for the 6000 building since it appears to be a little nicer. Both buildings have some updates, but the remodel work looks unfinished and caulk in shower rusty.
Last point, if you're placed in building 6000 ask for a top floor. They play music by the pool and we heard the music ALL NIGHT.
Not even remotely worth the nightly price, let alone the additional "resort fee".
There is mold all over the bathroom walls and the artwork and the shower curtain. The fixtures are rusty. The drywall is actually saturated, discolored and puffed out from an ignored leak. There are cords and cables coming from the a/c unit.
To top it off, apparently there is NO HOUSEKEEPING?!?!
Why the hell are we paying a resort fee when we aren't even getting our room tidied up while we're out? Maybe refill the tissue? The in room coffee sachets? Make the bed? No? You don't do that here? Even the fleabag motels on this highway can manage that. Why is it that it's 5pm and we have to call for housekeeping?
The worst, however, are all of the people they over serve at their bar and then let roam the hallways at 4am, being belligerent to guests trying to sleep who ask them to be quiet.
You quickly learn it's no big deal here as literally everyone screams in the hallways. It's so loud it's like you don't even have a door. Speaking of doors -- Light pours in because they're poorly sealed.
The walls and ceilings are so thin that you can hear every door slam and toilet flush. It's a total garbage dump that lets you get zero rest after a long day of park going or sight seeing.
The pools are disgusting -- full of dirt and leaves. It looks like a bucket you left out in the rain.
There are holes in the ceiling of the cafe and it's just extremely unsanitary.
This place is a ripoff and if it weren't for the fact that my in-laws tour group is booked here, we'd leave.
My husband and I have stayed here twice in the last few years. We like it because the hotel is close to Disney but isn't as expensive as the hotels on the property. They offer shuttles to Disney and Universal for free, but it's a quick drive to Disney property if you opt to do that instead. There are two good sized pools on site and the rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. There's several good places to eat within a few minutes drive, too. I can't quite give it 5 stars because some areas of the resort do need a little paint and updating, but we will definitely return in the future.
Definitely not up to par. Room was outdated and old. Had to fight tooth and nail for a roll in shower for wheelchair bound wife, despite multiple phone calls confirming it. Billing error has yet to be corrected, even when I went to front desk in the middle of the stay to correct it. Nobody really cares, as far as management.
Stayed at a comfort inn and suites for less money, had a much better experience, a better restaurant and correct billing. Definitely a bottom of the barrel resort on it's last legs. There are cheaper, newer, and better run alternatives, especially in this area.
Set reservations about a month ago for my honeymoon. Called early to make sure I was booking the right room. We wanted something "romantic." We were going for three nights. Spend over $500. We were recommended a "business class room." Room was nice. As well as the staff. However, wasn't quite what we were looking for considering the price and it being our honeymoon. I talked to the manager on duty. He was very professional and accommodating to our needs. He upgraded us to a suite room. Now, the room was the exact same, just ground level. And it had an extra living room area, which wasn't really used. As generous as the manager was, and the staff, it just wasn't the room we were looking at getting for this particular occasion. The staff should get 4*, but it being my first stay I have to give a 3* for this.
Good standard service like you would expect from any decent stay; nothing spectacular but satisfactory none the less. Highlight of the resort is definitely the pool areas. One heated pool, calm and quiet when you're in the mood for that, and one non heated pool with a water slide for the kids. Plenty of deck seating and outside bar for night drinks was great too.
We booked a room with 2 double beds. It was pretty decent til we noticed there wasn't a door handle on the inside of the room and we were stuck inside for awhile. My fiance pryed the door open then went to speak with the manager. They ended up upgrading our room to a king room with a parlor suite attached and waved the resort fee. They also gave us coupons for free breakfast. The room was decent, but the shower was dirty and had to have it cleaned. I doubt I'll stay there again.
This is a nice hotel and priced very reasonably. We really enjoyed the pool and slide. Very centrally located to restaurants. The rooms are nice, clean and have a large size refrigerator. Hot water is plentiful. Housekeeping is on it! We have enjoyed our stay.
