  I've stayed at the University Guest House many times. It can't be beat for proximity to the hospital, hot breakfast, and convenience. I would give it 5 stars, but there was an old stain on the be spread that looked like a drop of blood, and there was an unopened soap in the shower. Their standard is normally better than this and they're very accommodating.

  Clean rooms with excellent staff. Breakfast was included and wonderful. Loved the coffee and tea bar.

  The event I attended here was in the basement, and it had plenty of space and glass doors with a convenient exit. The employees were polite, but maybe a bit slow. The event space was great for our purposes.

  The entrance of the hotel was amazing. I could not have asked for more. They had many complementary items which i appreciated to the fullest extent I could. If I was to stay in salt lake again this would be my number one choice.

  The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was very clean, no mold, hot water. Guest services was very helpful. The breakfast was above average with delicious french toast and great bacon. The gym was also well equipped with clean equipment and plenty of free weights and machines.

  The price is more than what you what you'd expect.
  The breakfast available is decent at best. The rooms are ok, just small. Mostly my eating is based on the high price for few amenities available.

  It was going well until I needed customer service from the front desk, and was treated very shabbily. One of the clerks questioned my integrity. It made me very angry he kept going on as if he did not care about my situation that was created by the staff. That is not hospitality. The issue was unresolved. The staff involved should be ashamed! You get a HUGE -10 in my book!

  Pleasant walk to Campus. Nice people. Hot breakfast (not fancy but free). Not much soundproofing but they provide complimentary earplugs.
