The the hospitality was good. The decor and atmosphere are phenomenal. The room we stayed in was older but was kept up-to-date and very nice. I really appreciated the nice balance they had at the pool. The hot tub is for people over 18. While some parents didn't appreciate their kids getting kicked out, it was nice being an adult and not having to kick the kids out because the staff came around regularly to inform them of the rules and request that they exit the hot tub.

I went here with a 20-person group for lunch and am happy to say that it was absolutely fantastic! The prices are reasonable, the meal was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. Although my favorite part, for sure, was their soft, fluffy, perfect rolls, everything else was almost just as great. I'm greatly impressed with the quality of service and how quick the seevice was with a group so large! I have absolutely no complaints.

Good hotel , walkable to main street. However I ended up getting a room not in tower but in back which was worst than a motel 6 room. Bath Shower was so powerful, I felt like I am standing under Niagara Falls. Also one time their system was down for more than 24 hours and that made us wait to check in or check out.for long time.

The cafe here offered some really tasty dinner. I had the beef liver, which was tender and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were delicious, and creamy. My friend got the chicken pot pie, and was equally pleased. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, but the service was a little lacking - we never got a follow up after our food was delivered, even for drinks, and the waitress forgot I ordered a dinner and didn't bring out the desert until after the check (and a reminder - because I almost forgot too). We didn't stay there, only went to eat, as it wasn't swamped like the other restaurants we tried.

We (girlfriend and I) went for their Thanksgiving dinner. We opted for the slightly more expensive restaurant that included dessert (@$31, vs $26 per plate). The service was ever so slightly slow, but was well paced overall. The food (we got a plate of turkey and one of stuffed salmon) was incredible and much better than I had expected. Additionally, they have a decent, quite expansive wine list. The dessert was the absolute best part of the meal. We got chocolate ganache cake with a raspberry reduction. I'm not sure if it was the atmosphere, a good end to a long day, or what, but their dessert was beyond exceptional. So while I felt like it was a little on the pricey side for a non-buffet Thanksgiving dinner, once we got that dessert, my entire perspective was changed and it became immediately worth the cost. In the end, if in the future I don't feel like making a holiday meal or I'm stuck working again, I'd gladly head over to Little America for a solid meal with an incredible dessert.

The location is convenient to downtown - you can walk a few blocks or jump on the light rail train located directly east of the hotel to get to the very center of the city.The lobby is decorated with the opulence of yester-year's luxury without being overbearing and features several gift shops and restaurants in the hotel. There are rooms in a high-rise portion of the building with downtown, mountain or suburban views or more intimate feeling rooms with large balconies overlooking garden spaces with fountains.The pool is unique in that it is both indoors and outdoors (one wall comes down near the top of the water). The rooms are clean and a nice size - the one I stayed in had two queen beds, a desk with two chairs, and two comfortable arm chairs. There was also a large bathroom and separate vanity area and a large closet. It was also nice to have central air and heating to control the rooms climate. I would stay there again any time.

We are currently staying here. We have stayed in the past and really enjoyed it but have not had the experience with them we had in the past. We brought our kids down to enjoy a little vacation and enjoy the pool. We were put in a room completely away from the pool on the second floor with no elevator. We have to walk our kids through the busy parking lot just to get them to the pool then walk them back in the chilly October weather. If I would have known that some rooms are not located in the actual hotel we would have booked elsewhere. We paid the same price as if we were to stay in the tower rooms. Be cautious when booking especially with kids and know up front you may not get a room that is even in the same building as the pool. Without the elevator to the 2nd floor it makes it so that it is not wheelchair accessible, is that even legal? This is comparable to a Motel 6 which I’m sure would have been much less of a cost. Next time I pay to stay in a ‘nicer’ HOTEL I’ll make sure to book one that doesn’t resemble a MOTEL.

This property has a wonderful staff and a classy feel. I stay here every year in October for a week and always look forward to it. The pool, spa, and fitness areas are well provisioned and clean. The food and drink are good. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. If I had any complaint it would be their seeming inability to make a good old fashioned at the bar.

I want to like this hotel a bit more than I do. It can just be so hit or miss. A lot depends on which staff you interact with. Some rooms can seem dated. That all being said, good restaurant, clean rooms and great location. I have never had a "bad experience " here, just the wide range of positives ones makes me wonder what the difference between the shift trainings is.

The tower rooms are beautiful! If you want to pay slightly less and don't mind dated carpet and wall coverings, then opt for a garden view rooms. All the rooms are a generous size and very comfortable, but the tower rooms have been updated and are quite contemporary. I felt that the room service fees were a bit obnoxious. The hotel staff work very hard to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They were very helpful courteous and professional. The $20 per person breakfast buffet is very good. The overall experience is great. It's not as splendid as it's sister hotel, the Grand America, but it is still a really lovely place to stay.

The room is very nice, albeit the beds are hard. Great shower unlike most hotels, good water pressure. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. They use feather pillows and I didn't know that, allergies went bonkers first night. Both pools are very well kept and the staff is extremely helpful.

Very nice hotel. Beautifully decorated and maintained. We loved the huge bouquet of fresh flowers in the lobby. The hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool was beautiful. The hotel is 5 blocks south of temple square and a great location to walk to every point of downtown. The only down side was the very small toilet area in the bathroom. I felt stuffed between a wall and the huge bath. I lived. Everything else was fantastic.

They charged me close to double (in the neighborhood of $600) because of authorization charges that I am still waiting to get back. The restaurant staff followed us out of the restaurant and publicly asked why we didn't leave a larger tip in the crowded lobby. Our shower leaked and the air conditioning was broken in our room. When we brought these concerns up to the management, they said they were sorry and offered us $20 off of our bill. While kind, I wonder if this will adequately address their shortcomings and ensure no one else is treated in this way. I booked this hotel because of its good price and outstanding reviews, but I will never return and strongly warn against picking this hotel.

For a four star rating, I feel like the experience was just for a 2 star hotel with overlay of nice material. Staff looked down on us like we weren't 'rich' enough to stay there. The person who checked us in didn't smile or offer any information about the hotel while the person next to him was being super nice and helpful. A motel has more amenities than Little America. There was no fridge nor microwave and we had to ask for them at a extra price. The staff who brought the fridge said they didn't have any microwaves and would get back to us. We never heard from them again. Honestly I felt like I could stay at a motel for a cheaper price and get the exact same or better service.

The hours of operation were either incorrect on the Internet or I was very unlucky. The host at the bar would not even acknowledge me and was reluctant to even give me a menu. She started ignoring me when I said I wouldn't order alcohol and told me the restaurant had closed an hour ago. I was also told the bar was the restaurant even though the Internet said the restaurant was a separate entity open until 11. Unfortunately due to her service and reluctance to help us, I will not return here. I was surprised as I've been to other little America restaurants and hotels before with no hassles. The parking garage was awful to navigate as well since people not only crowded in front of the access but also parked in front of turns inside of the garage. Overall, I was shocked at the service, especially being ignored as a customer who wanted to order dinner after arriving into town late. I was also surprised that the Internet information from the search engine and hotel both stated they were open late and would have still allowed patrons to order dinner. I had to go to Chiles to eat instead and found another place to sleep for the night
