My family and I stayed here for little time away. Had a good experience. Very nice stay.

The building itself is not bad at all. But the manager is a jerk. My grandson was really sick and threw up on the bed, so we stripped the bed and changed everything. The next day the manager called our room and told us there was damage done to there property and we are going to be fined for the stain from the baby throwing up. My grandson was eating some chocolate when he threw up and that's what stained the bed. I tell the manager that was a involuntary action and they told me it is still damage to their property. I was like holy cow. We are getting fined because a baby got sick.

Nice place to stay. Close to many restaurants. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The staff was very helpful and informative.

Good place to stay if you're visiting SLC. It's about 15 minutes away and has a nice breakfast, no eggs or sausage like in some other hotels but yes waffle iron. The hotel has confortable beds and space. It doesn't have any nice views from the windows, unless you see the mountains in the distance. Overall, the staff, place, location and breakfast were a good deal.

Place is okay. Run down. Breakfast is really low grade.
Staff is awesome though.
Felt safe enough. Room had a weird smell. Bed was ehh. Bathroom was icky. Tub stained, tiles missing, doors & walls had holes, like there was a fight. Room fixtures were barely operable, like maintenance lacks pride.

Not happy with service nor with management response. We were promised one thing and that was never achieved. The only thing we got was attitude from the manager and lies over lies. This was a short stay since we were displaced from our home due to a fire. Dirty carpets on the hallways, room service deplorable, had to beg for shampoo and towels changed. No vacuum or dusting. Pool over chlorinated to the point it hurt. The included breakfast was about the only thing that was at least above mediocre. At least the milk was not sour and the orange juice tasted fresh.

Its sad when you stay at a place for two weeks while working in town and then La Quinta raises your rate when a convention comes into town. I guess that tells me how important I am to them. NOT! The best part is my Daughter was sleeping and a maid (a young man) came in the room and pulled the blankets off her . I was not happy about that! Ask Kevin at the front desk. You'll enjoy breakfast also they expect you to cram in a little area for what they call breakfast. Enjoy!!! I know i wouldnt come back here.

Update: First impression not the best but overall I'm moving my rating up to a 4 star. Kevin is great! He hooked me up with deodorant (Tom's brand) when I needed it and he is great with the guests!

The overall assessment of the Inn is accurate. I won't be staying here again, not the quality I've grown accustomed to. Small room with one bar of soap and a small shampoo/conditioner bottle. The fridge looks busted. Totally bummed 😖😕response / report this review -

La Quinta Inn is constantly a great hotel. They're not very expensive and they allow pets . Their rooms are nice and I've never found any bugs nor a mess on my room. The staff is almost always really nice. Overall great place.

We always stay at La Quinta and are very satisfied. This was the worst one we have ever stayed at. It is in a very shady part of town, we didn't feel safe at all. There is so much foot traffic at all hours of the night and lots of non-guests just hanging around outside. They really should have security walking around. We were actually concerned about our car because we were being watched as we arrived at check-in.Though it looks newly renovated you definitely can tell it is an older building. The hotel employees were great though. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we canceled our stay on our return trip. We will never stay here again.

The housekeeping was the best part about the stay. They were friendly and loved to joke around with me in a very professional manner. The building was well kept maintained. I missed breakfast, so next time I stay I hope I can tend to see what all that have to offer.

It was well worth the price I paid to stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly, and helpful. My only suggestion is to have better insulated doors, or replace the the gasket frame. I could hear everyone in the hall, and my neighbors across the way were unfortunately very obnoxious. Not at the fault of the hotel of course, plus I'm a light sleeper, so that doesn't help.

Awesome hotel!! The hotel has just been remodeled, and it's beautiful. The room was cool and clean, the decor was modern and chic, and the staff was really helpful. My daughter and I are traveling with our dog who hates hotels. The front desk clerk was able to find a pet-friendly hotel so that we could go out to eat (a great brewery/restaurant down the street). When we checked out the manager was even there to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!!
