Beautifully decorated for Christmas! Large crowd there enjoying the decor and atmosphere. Many people were having group pictures taken in front of the tree, including a bride and groom with their families and those who stood up with them. Lots of folks, including our little group, rode the new streetcar around the loop and saw beautiful decorations along the route. Loved it!

Union Station is pretty cool! There's always something different when we visit. Harvey's in Union Station is pretty good as well. Beautiful interior and a lot of history here. Science city and the train sets are awesome! This is a must see place when visiting Kansas city! Don't forget to check out Jack Stack in the freight house behind Union Station!

Union Station KC is an amazing structure. The grand beauty and romantic history are a joy to take in any time of the year, but especially at the holidays. I can spend hours walking around, taking pictures and admiring the craftsmanship of not only the original construction, but the skill of those who took part in the great restoration. It is a place that houses exciting opportunities for families to learn and laugh together – including but not limited to Science City, movies on the Extreme Screen, kid-friendly theater productions, special science and learning activities throughout each week and world renowned traveling exhibits. But it is not just for families, Union Station is an ideal spot for a date or just meet up for lunch with a friend with multiple dining options plus easy access to the street car and The Link to Crown Center. A perfect location to spend time with out of town guests. Making a great experience even better is the friendly staff at Union Station. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend a visit soon! Then check out the membership options. There are so many advantages and savings!

Amazing building with a beautiful roof. We attended a craft fair that had a great selection of vendors. We unfortunately didn't get to see the rest of the venue but it seemed like a great place to take a family. The movie theater was filled with folks seeing the Polar Express - a neat Christmas activity. A little disappointed to be hit up for parking, but maybe that's just me being cheap.

Cool place to visit. Always something happening.I saw an Indian wedding in progress, very cool. The Mummy exhibit was worth a stroll through, though pricey. The changing art display is a neat feature. The building and its history are pretty fascinating. Ive eaten at Harvey's Sunday brunch which was quite good. Spending part of your day here is a good option.

This is a beautiful example of a grand old train station that's still an important part of the city. Yes, the trains still arrive and depart here, but there are other reasons to visit like the Science Center and the restaurants. A lot of other cities could take their cue from what KC has done here!

Incredible "Monument" to a great city! The amount of vision and foresight required to preserve this piece of American history is incredible. The ceilings are 95 feet high, and the artistic finishes are amazing. Plus the model train layout was very well done, and the history exhibits were very interesting. Plus, great food !! I would highly recommend.

I just love the architecture. I came to show my baby sister some glorious things IF has to offer. We came here a little late and she had some Parisi espresso. It's so beautiful here. Stunning. I love that it's rich with history and all those historical photos are displayed throughout. So much to do here

The free model train exibit is wonderful, clean, and surprisingly impressive. There was even a little play area packed with train themed toys. My 3 year old loved it and keeps asking when we'll go back! Walk the link path between Union Station and the Crown Center while you are there. Beautiful architecture and clean bathrooms too!

I love this place. It's so beautiful, and there are always great exhibits for all ages there. It also has seasonal celebrations there or events which are always great to be a part of. Everyone is kind and helpful. I always love going back! The only complaint I have is it is so expensive to park there, so be prepared!

One of the largest historic train stations in our nation. Feels everyone who sees it with the Majesty of the National Shrine Great venue . King Tut Titanic Pompeii and many other expositions constantly touring a very large building that gives tours. Also home of pierpont's the crown jewel of steakhouses in Kansas City.

This is a gorgeous building. We had gone for the Pompeii exhibit. The exhibit was well put together and incredibly interesting. Union station often has educational exhibits like this and they are great to check out. The only bad thing about Union Station is that it is difficult to navigate. It could really use more signs inside and outside the building to direct traffic.

Beautiful place to visit! Many of the various activity type places were closed but it was a great place to see just the same. The restaurant there looks like it would be a great place to dine! A wedding was being held there at the time of my visit. Nice place for it!

I love the restoration of Union Station. They have great little shops, a wonderful restaurant, good coffee. I love the exhibits they bring in and visit several times a year. Easily accessible by walking, car, and street car, and bus. Many wonderful attractio s are nearby and this makes the center of an amazing day trip.

A must-see for visitors, this historic and beautiful building houses Science City, Extreme Screen, H&R Block Theatre, the planetarium, dining and shopping. Not just for taking a train. A wonderful place to visit at Christmas time, -it is a tradition. Special exhibits can be entertaining and educational- but some are pricey for a family. I wish they still had the old fashioned diner. Walk around the Link and visit Crown Center. Just north of the WWI Memorial and museum. My family has spent countless hours over the years enjoying activities at this amazing landmark. My father got on a train at Union Station 65 yrs ago to join the Navy. So much history in this special 100+ yr old building.
